Football is incredibly fascinating that with every minute it snatches the viewer’s breath away. You can never foresee what’s going to happen in the next second or minute in football. Football is a sport loved and played by millions of people around the world. It is called a universal game because every nation big or small plays it.

The greatest tournament in the world at large and of Football is the FIFA World Cup which comes up every 4 years and this year is its lucky year.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT BEING A FAN OF THAT TEAM?
My Favourite Football Team for this year's World Cup has been known for decades as the most successful team around the world. Virtually every country in the world has a National Football Team competing to participate and win the World Cup hopefully. I wouldn't mind supporting my National Team (Team Nigeria) but they couldn't qualify for the finale, so I had to pick a team with great records, unique skills and a style of play which has earned them more fans than usual teams, therefore I will select my favourite team based on that.

As for me, I select Brazil as my favourite team for the 2022 World Cup. This team has built their record for winning the most titles in World Cup history and has dominated the world of football with the production of great players like Pele, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho etc...
Other than that, this team is always listed among the favourites to win every competition they participate in. No doubt about that, as the Brazilian team is among the nations to have qualified for all world cup tournaments.
The players always play in their best condition and they have a unique tactical style in attacking, controlling and defending the ball known as Samba. They're capable of playing a possession style of football to avoid losing their favourite ball to the opposition and have exhibited to the world their superb passing skill.
DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVOURITE PLAYERS ON THE TEAM? IF SO, WHO ARE THEY AND WHY?
Sure, from past to present, I always have those players I love to see exile with the team while growing up, my favourite Brazilian players I got to watch were Ronaldinho and Kaka. My God, I fell in love with the Brazilian national team because of the feat and show of talent.
My currently favourite players include Neymar jnr, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli. I am hurt Firmino didn't make the list for the World Cup as I would have loved to see his dance moves after scoring as he always does.
But I guess I will be comforted in that department by Neymar and Vinicius Jnr who are also dancers, and I look up to Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli to excel.
DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPERSTITIONS OR TRADITIONS SURROUNDING THE TEAM?
Superstition according to Britannica Dictionary is a belief or way of behaving that is based on fear of the unknown and faith in magic or luck: a belief that certain events or things will bring good or bad luck.
On this note, I have heard of numerous superstitions regarding football in general, such as the Kolo Toure superstition of being the last person to come onto the pitch, Laurent Blanc planting a kiss upon the head of the French goalkeeper before every game, and the story of the Brazilian great suffering a dip in form for giving a matching shirt to a fan etc...
But I can't count on or hear of any superstition or traditions surrounding the Brazilian national team.
HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED A WORLD CUP FOOTBALL GAME LIVE? IF SO, WHAT WAS THE EXPERIENCE LIKE.? IF NOT, HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO WATCH A LIVE WORLD CUP GAME?
No, I haven't. As much as I look up to being in attendance at the stadium of a world cup football game, I have never got the chance to live that dream. It has always been my dream to witness a live world cup game since the first day I witnessed a world cup game live on TV in 2002 when I was just 7 years of age.
DO YOU THINK YOUR FAVOURITE TEAM WILL WIN THE WORLD CUP IN 2022? EXPLAIN THE REASON
I have a strong feeling deep down my guts that my team will win the world cup, as they are very capable of achieving that goal again and again. The Brazilian national team is a well-organised and richly talented squad, but like I said earlier football is a game full of unpredictability. No one gave Croatia the chance to make the final in the last edition but they did that and almost won it all. So as much as I believe like most others that Brazil can go all the way, am expecting Ghana and the African nations alike to win one for us as well.
As hurting as it is to my nation for not qualifying for the grand event, we all have chosen different teams to support of which my personal favourite is Brazil but I still hope Africa surprises the world.
