কক্সবাজার সমুদ্র সৈকতে অনেকগুলো বিচিত্রময় প্রাণী আছে যেগুলো হয়তোবা আমরা এখনো পর্যন্ত আবিষ্কার করতে পারেনি। শুধু কক্সবাজার নয় বিশ্বে যতগুলো সমুদ্র সৈকত আছে প্রত্যেকটা সমুদ্রের মধ্যে এরকম অগণিত অনেক প্রাণী রয়েছে যা আমরা এখনো পর্যন্ত চোখে দেখিনি কিংবা আবিষ্কার করতে পারিনি।

Panta Bhat is the rice left over from the previous night soaked in water. Which becomes panta rice. Keep your body as cool as possible to keep yourself healthy during this scorching hot summer. So everyone tries to eat more or less food that keeps the body cool. Today I want to talk about one such dish that speaks of Bengali heritage. And that is "panta rice". A lot can be said about Panta rice.

দক্ষিণ এশিয়া মহাদেশের সর্ববৃহত্তর বৌদ্ধ মূর্তি পরিদর্শন।

বাংলাদেশের দক্ষিনে পটুয়াখালীর কুয়াকাটার মিশ্রি পাড়ায় অবস্থিত এই মূর্তি। এটিকে দক্ষিন এশিয়ার সর্বচ্চ বড় বৌদ্ধ মুর্তি বলা হয়। এটি অনেক প্রাচীন বিশাল বড় বৌদ্ধ মুর্তি।৩২ ফিট উচু এই মুর্তি বানাতে তৎকালীন মিয়ানমার থেকে আগত ৫ জন শিল্পীর ৩০ মাস সময় লাগে।এটির ওজন ২৮০০ কেজি মানে ৭০ মণ।এখানে এক বৌদ্ধ প্রর্থনা অবস্থায় আছে এটি দেখানো হয়েছে।আর এটি তৈরিতে সার্বিক সহযোগিতা করেছেন তখনকার রাখাইন নেতা মিশ্রি তালুকদার। তার নামেই এই গ্রামের নামকরণ করা হয়েছে।
