I really love this contest area of concentration due to the fact that it is really important for both the adults and children, it plays a viral part in everyone live most especially in this computer and technology era also know as electronic age. So many lives has been in destroyed because the were ignorant of information contained in this contest, this contest is really powerful because it deals with the most powerful tool on earth.
The social media to me is the most powerful tool on earth because it shares message and information at a very high speed and we all now that information is very powerful, for example the spread of fake news through the social media can cause a very aggressive protest in a nation.
Before I answer the question, I would love to explain the word social media. Social media as the name implies is media platform that spread information or message from one person to another I a very fast pace, this is a platform that help socialization faster than it's and safer. In a. Social media so many information can be seen from people all over the universe without any extra effort or money, for example if do watch football match live from YouTube or TikTok whenever I don't have electric light at home.
My parents never permitted me to access the social media until I reached the 15 years old, the always say you to Young for the social world. Talking about my experience so far I would say that it has been really been good so far most especially since I came across steemit, the social media could be very deadly if accessed in the wrong manners. So many has been complaining that it has only brought them pains because social media is where 70% scam has been experienced, while others like my elder sister would say it is a source of blessings because she meet her current husband on a social media platform.
I would say 14 or 15 years old is the best age for any child who wishes to access the social media because the social media contains lot of knowledge and people which could be very dangerous to a growing child, Even if it's actually very necessary for the child to access social media, it should be done on close supervision.
I chose 14 or 15 years old because at this age a child can properly understand instructions and read perfectly, at this age a child already know how to differentiate between good and bad properly. I solidly believe a smart 14 or 15 years old child can make reasonable and smart decisions on concerning what and who the associate with on a social media platform.
I would say there are missing alot because social media can help pass and receive very important informations from or to anybody at a very fast speed, social media so far has proven to be the best means of sharing information all over the world in just seconds, for example if a trending or verified account post something on social media in the next 30 minutes over 30 thousand people can view the post.
Another thing so many people don't know is that social media platform can generate large source of income, at times it pays more than some people salary. For example steemit has so far generated millions of dollars for account owners so far, on steemit users like @rme generate some people anual salary in a week. Also social media platform like Facebook that pays $20 per 10k view could generate large source of income to user with large views, just imagine one million views on Facebook that's roughly $2000 generated from a post.
Every social media platform has a different ways of growing and properly managing a social media platform but one thing that remains constant is that consistency remains the best key solution. On steemit the best way to manage your account is to consistently write engaging, important and unique content on steemit platform. To fasten the growth rate try as much as possible to engage on other steemians article.
Obeying the rules and regulations is another important factor that affects the growth of any social media platform, for example posting nudes on Facebook with only cause your account to be automatically blocked from growing or writing Plagiarized content on steemit would just give you a bad name and in worst case you can be permanently muted from communities
I believe with social media in power very soon equity would be practiced all over the world, social media platforms has given power to the poorest man in the world just as it has increased the power of the common journalist because no matter how poor you are you voice can see be head all over the world in just seconds. I remembered how a very rich celebrity hurt a young lady sometime last year, with the help of social media the world came to her rescue, Even without money and connection she defeated the celebrity in court. This proof that social media would safe more in the nearest future.
Power will totally belong to the people, unlike before where the government have power to do and undo, now the world has grown so powerful with the help social media. For example in Nigeria the citizens chose their presidential candidate and did a powerful campaign for him through the social media and currently the are trying to fight the rigging using the social media, they youths are planning a co-ordinated protest through the social media.

My country Nigeria is one of the top user of social media platform, they are always ready to post and read information for social media platforms. Currently the most common is TikTok, most Nigerians really love streaming TikTok videos and creating content on steemit.
I believe in no distance time the table will turn around and steemit will top the chart of the best and most used social media in Nigeria and in the world.

Regarding the right age for people to have access to social media, I also believe that 14 or 15 years old is the best age for children to have access to social media. However, it should be done under close supervision and guidance from parents or guardians.
In terms of managing social media accounts, I completely agree with you that consistency is key. It is also important to follow the rules and regulations of each social media platform to avoid any negative consequences.
Regarding the future of social media, I believe that it has the potential to make the world a better place by giving power to the people and promoting equity. However, it can also have negative consequences such as the spread of fake news and misinformation.
As for the advantages and disadvantages of social media in my life, the advantage is that it has helped me to connect with people from all over the world and has given me access to a wealth of information. The disadvantage is that it can also be a source of distraction and can sometimes lead to addiction if not managed properly.

There are many benefits of social media. Nowadays we could not talk to our loved ones when earlier times were very difficult but nowadays we can contact them through video call and all this social media.
