Today I am going to continue tutorials of Adobe Photoshop, and here is the 8th lesson of Adobe Photoshop.

Dodge Tool
The name of the tool we are going to look at next is Dodge. Clicking on this tool in Photoshop will bring up 3 submenus
They are
- Dodge Tool
- Burn Tool
- Sponge Tool
As we have already seen, this dodge tool is used as a toning method in photo editing. Used to increase or decrease the brightness of a photo and to increase or decrease the volume only at a specific part of the photo. The Dodge tool is used to increase the brightness, while the Burn tool is used to decrease the brightness and change the density.
This Burn tool is especially helpful in a photo where we want to darken the color in someone's hair and turn the whites and grays into black, When you click on this tool, the option will appear, among them, the types of the brush will appear in this tool, as well as the sizes in this tool, we can select the ones we need and use them in the right area.
If you take a sponge and dip it in the colored water and then apply it to some paper, this tool is used to give the impression of how the area will become colored. Let's call it a patch.
The tool options also have the facility to increase or decrease the amount of color in the image, by using its saturate and desaturate option we could change the color image from black & white image and as well as black & white to color.
