burnsteem25 || ADOBE PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL -LESSON 2 ||#club100
Namaste friends,
As I told you in my last post I am going to share my knowledge here as tutorials, and here is the second lesson of Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe Photoshop Tutotial
Lesson : 2
Marquee Tool
There is a toolbox in photoshop, you can hide it, and appear it by going windows on the menu bar, when you click on any tools of the toolbox the Options bar changes its option depending on the tools we selected, and it controls the tools such as size, pressure, ,shape etc.
The first tool in the toolbox is called the Marquee tool, If you click on the Marquee tool in the toolbar, the menus will appear and you can select any of them according to your needs. For example, using the rectangle marquee tool, you can select and cut the specific part of the photo. There are 4 menus in the marquee tool.
- Rectangular Marquee tool.
- Elliptical Marquee tool.
- Single row marquee tool.
- Single column marquee tool.
However, you can cut the photo circle or oval shape with the ellipse marquee tool. This tool also helps to select specific areas for further editing, and copy and paste purposes.
With this marquee tool you can select, and deselect any area of the photo, and also there are more options such as invert selection which allow us to select the outer area of the square or circle. As I mentioned above the options bar controls the tools and whatever tool I choose the horse turns out to have the power to control it. So when you click on the Marquee tool there also option appears on the options bar.
An important feature of this tool is the Feather by which we can adjust the scale as needed, also select and cut as spray unless sharp edges of the photo, which helps to merge with the background where we want to paste.
