Greetings! I hope everyone here is doing well and enjoying their life by the Grace of Allah Almighty. Today I'm here to take part in another contest organised by @suboohi and the topic is "Heat Stroke". As we all know summer season has started and heat wave is coming to different places. Its really an alarming situation so let's discuss it in detail.

Heat stroke is a condition when our body gets too hot and we can't cool down it quickly. It usually occur during very hot weather which is in summer or when someone is doing over exercise in the heat. Our body's temperature can rise quickly and can reach dangerous levels that can result in damage to our brain and oragns.

Symptoms of heat stroke include a high body temperature, red and hot skin spots, fast heart beating, rapid breathing, headache, dizziness, nausea, confusion, and loss focus. If someone is suffering from heat stroke, its important that people around him must cool him down quickly by moving him to cool place, give him cool water, and let him wear cool cloths so that his body temperature reduce. Heat stroke is an emergency, its better to get help from doctor as quickly as possible.

As I mentioned symptoms of heat stroke above, it is a serious condition that must be treated as quickly as possible. The symptoms of heat stroke are quite serious and can come on quickly. One of the main sign is body temperature rising quickly often above 103 degrees Fahrenheit. The skin might feel hot and dry or be red and sweaty depending on each person. Other important symptoms include a fast and strong pulse, headache, dizziness, and feeling very weak or tired.

There are some other symptoms which occur in few people that are they may also feel confused, agitated, focus lose, or having trouble in thinking clearly. They might feel sick and can do vomit or faint. There are some more serious conditions in which a person could have seizures or even lose consciousness. So its important to recognize symptoms early and take medical help as quickly as possible.

I have not yet seen any person near me who fainted due to heat stroke or have a heat stroke. But what I have heared from my parents is if you face heat stroke, its important to quickly move to cool place and make your clothes weat with cool water and drink sip by sip cool water not quickly because it can make you more tired if you drink quickly.

Moving a person to shady and cooler place makes his body temperature reduce. Second thing is taking off his extra clothes will also help in cooling down body. Splashing water on the face, hands, feet, and body can greatly reduce body temperature. One recommendation here is to avoid giving drinks with caffeine or alcohol to that person because it will further damage his organs. If the temperature is not reducing after these tips, take ice packs and put on different body parts like on neck, armpits, and groin. If still the temperature is high consult with doctor quickly.
