"Cousin's Wheat Allergy Update: Test Results and Doctor's Advice"
Hello Everyone
I'm Ahsan Sharif From Pakistan
Peace be upon you, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. The past few days have been quite busy, so I have not been very active on this platform. I am going to start my work again today InshaAllah. Thank you very much to all my friends for stopping by.
This diary is related to my cousin who is allergic to wheat. That is, he cannot eat anything made of wheat. Because he is allergic to this stuff, his stomach gets bloated if he eats it. Vomiting starts, abdominal pain starts.
When he was two years old, he started having this problem because whenever he ate anything made of wheat, his stomach became bloated and he cried a lot. Due to this, the doctor checked him, and the doctor prescribed a test to find out what is the problem with his stomach.
On doing the test, it was found that the teeth in the stomach which grind the food together to digest the food are very weak. They are intolerant to wheat, which is why they have these problems.
At that time the doctor said that you should avoid it, if you completely avoid it, you will start eating wheat products at the age of about 12 to 13 years.
So now that he is 11 years old, we thought he should be tested again to see how much of the disease he still has. For this, I took my cousin along and we went to the famous laboratory in Pakistan called Chugatai Lab.
In Chugatai Lab I went and showed them the old test and asked them to conduct a new test on this basis. I asked them to take a sample and give us this test report. They sat him on the side where a nurse took his blood sample.
After taking the blood sample they gave us a report case file so that we could get our report again based on it. Because the report was due the next day, we took that case file from there paid them the fee, and left from there.
When we started returning home from Chagatai Lab, I got a call from my aunt who is my cousin's mother and she told me again that her blood test was also to be done. In the blood test, we have to check her Hb to see if she is anemic. If we had been told earlier, we would have done those tests with the same blood, but now they took as much blood as they needed. Due to this we then went to a nearby laboratory to get it tested again. And the report can also be obtained immediately as the Chagatai lab report comes the next day.
Then we went to CDL (Care Diagnostic Lab) from where we got his blood test done and in no time we got his report. For this first, we went and gave a blood sample and after about 30 minutes we got the report.
After looking at this report, it was found that he is not anemic at all. Because her normal range is between 13 and 17 but hers is 13.2. This is great because it is still a baby so it will gradually increase.
The next day he received his report from the Chugatai Lab, which revealed that his illness had come down due to what he had avoided for so many years. Because what is below five is very best and above 10 is dangerous. That's why his eye is 7 something so that's why his report is very good. If he abstains more, he can get rid of this disease.
But now we will get him checked by a doctor, Dr. Sajid Mustafa a famous child specialist near us, and show him this report then he will tell us what will be his further procedure.
The next day after getting that report we took him to Dr. Sajid Mustafa. He checked her up and told her that her weight was right for her age and her height was almost right. So you should avoid it further and I will prescribe some medicines for you to feed them continuously. And then after three months, you have to get it checked up again to know how far the disease has recovered.
Now we will use the medicine prescribed by the doctor regularly and then after three months we will test it again and then we will know to what extent it has reached.
