The average diary is boooring.
A few make a good read like

if you ask me a must read.
Why I'm sharing my day, thoughts?
It's #forthechildren.
I did it many times on Steemit and quess what?
I can't find them back.
The hashtags are useless.

Eating myself a way through the garden is paradise! I wish I had more fruits. Happy to see mulberries.

Positive about being alone

No longer worry about what day it is and I do not care about cooking. Morning, evening, afternoon or night, it doesn't matter much. I do what I want and let it be. Life would be so much easier and cheaper if it were just me.
Yes, I got out of bed later because I have to drive to the airport around midnight and why bother? I can write in bed. The drive around midnight takes about two hours.

What I don't want at the airport: Waiting a long time because it costs money (albeit the Dutch, although 'Ons ben zunig' (ours are frugal) is something for the 'Zeeuws Meisje (slogan of the Zeeland girl - a brand of margarine something I never buy, i.e. the margarine).

Thanks to Mr. Tomcat who was still alive this morning (time to eat and drink before I have to work it in with a syringe, which will definitely be a fight), I stayed up late reading and commenting in the dark with Tomcat on my lap.
Really, it's time I buy ginger and try out that tea @el-nailul mentioned b because it feels as if I'm walking through quicksand. No way I cut the grass today.
Lucky me, Thor sides with me. Thank you, for making it thunder and lightning for the biggest part of the (is it the God Thor or is it those chemtrails?).

Did my son buy a toll vignette?
When he calls during the morning, stressed because he is packing his bag and everything is raining wet because he spread it out on the meadow and there are still many things to arrange before he leaves, I ask him.

No idea, I'll check it out.
I receive proof of payment (that's facto) or something similar. Everything is online nowadays.

I had a look on the "market", you know that option in the Steen wallet. Honestly, I have no idea what I'm looking at and whether what I'm seeing is beneficial or not. I don't think so, so later (someday) I check at Bitvavo. At least they have a graph so I can see where things are going.
I upgraded my Hive via Bitvavo (very first time in my life Yahoo for me and that after all those years) and used some Steem to power up and the rest is meant to reward stories I like with (UVF or SBI).

A good story is hard to find.
The hashtag 'story' is used for literally every post even if it's a photo only (one without text). The plus is it saves me Steem. 😁

I'm increasingly thinking about buying Steem. Given the list of more necessary expenses, that won't happen for a while. Why, oh why is everything so expensive? The cheapest option to survive is never to set foot outside my home again.

I sent UVF b 2 friends because they wrote a story I liked. On average I reward with UVF once per day, not too bad if you ask me. It's 7 stories per week.

My son and two classmates left later than expected. None of the boys had breakfast or lunch. The lousy teacher should drive them to the airport. When he finally arrived he had to lunch first. The boys weren't dropped at 'Departure' but had to walk quite a distance. I wonder what this teacher was thinking, back to Mrs to celebrate vacation?

The flight is delayed.
With Vueling the boys flew to Barcelona in timr. I told them to buy lunch. One roll for 7.50 euros! At least it tasted.
In Barcelona, they had to wait for 4 hours, 4 changed into 5 but it wasn't such a problem because the airport was all they saw from Spain. How sad is that? No Italy, and in France it was just the racing circuit, mud and once a trip to Aldi (supermarket).

It didn't rain as I left. The moon was a bit covered by clouds but it wasn't dark which made it easier to drive. There are no streetlights.
Around 1 am (May 23rd, 2024) my son called they landed.
_Sorry, I am stuck, closed in by trucks because of roadworks. _
While talking I noticed the 43 kilometres turned out to be 34 so after the roadworks I drove a bit faster. I arrived at 1:30 am Home Alone is over!

Did you notice too that the roads are never empty? It's so different from 20- 40 years ago.
