SEC16W1: “It is Women’s Day!”

Today I wanted to invite you to the challenge running by Steem For Ladies Community:

Since we were young children we loved to celebrate this holiday. First of all, we loved to do a present for our mother and having my sisters we always tried to get better present for our mother it was like a competition for us. Understandably we were happy to see the smile of the face of our mother.
Now I think she probably smiled having our presents, often it was something that we created with our own hands and often it was some kind of children's drawings. That time we were proud of them and loved when our mother was going to take them to work and pin up of the wall in her office.
Later on when we got a bit older it was time for flowers, we all were bringing some flowers, again it was an inner competition who will bring the most beautiful or flowers the best smell and whole flower bouquet will last longer.
Of course, the kitchen was also not left alone. We always prepared some cakes, I think our mother loved that day because we had so many cakes and they were always very delicious.
“Invest in women: Accelerate progress”
I do not want to say that women are better than men, definitely not and women without men will not be what we are now. To explain what I mean:
- only our beloved men can tolerate our character and see an angel behind
- thank our men we are trying to look great and remain beautiful despite of time and tiredness
Often women are undervalued, although modern society wiped out the border of the profession and activities that can be done by male and female. We see women in army, police, firefighter, they are managers and CEO's of companies and even the heads of countries and doing their job really good.
What we want from our women:
- be a woman, soft and gentle, so the everyone would immediately like to help and protect you
- be loving mother, because nobody can replace that
- remain always young and beautiful
- be a "shoulder" for our beloved hubbies, they always need our love and support
As my contribution, I love to do painting and drawing of women and this one done with soft pastel "Beauty of woman" fits very well to this topic, I hope you like this too.

Thank you @nooruleman for your nice comment, there are so much we can tell and discuss where women can contribute, I hope that we will see how many areas we can discover for women. In families we are already appreciated and in some countries there is a special Women's day. Hope that society will strongly support female candidates in many different fields too :) I am glad that you also like my painting :)

নারী দিবস উপলক্ষে নারীদেরকে নিয়ে চমৎকার লিখেছেন আপনি, প্রথমত আমি বলব আপনার করা পেইন্টিং এত দারুন হয়েছে যে, আপনার পোস্টে আমার চোখ আটকে গেল। আসলে প্রত্যেকটা নারীকে অবশ্যই এগিয়ে আসা উচিত। আপনারা আপনাদের মাকে খুশি করার জন্য অনেক কিছু করেছেন। মায়ের মুখের হাসি আমাদের সবার জন্য অনেক বেশি মূল্যবান।
একজন পুরুষের জীবনে নারীর কথাটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, সেটা আপনি চমৎকারভাবে ফুটিয়ে তুলেছেন। আসলে আমরা যদি পুরুষের কাঁধে কাঁধ মিলিয়ে চলতে পারি। তাহলে কিন্তু একজন পুরুষ খুব তাড়াতাড়ি সফলতা অর্জন করতে পারে। আমরা সব সময় মায়ের দরজায় নিজেদেরকে রাখার চেষ্টা করি। আমিও একজন মা এবং বুঝতে পারি সন্তানের জন্য আমাদের কি কি করনীয়। ধন্যবাদ চমৎকার লেখা উপস্থাপন করার জন্য। ভালো থাকবেন।
Wow, you had the opportunity of celebrating your mother on mother even as a child and that's is a nice thing to do, i wasn't opportuned to do that as a kid because I didn't kno what it was then. Women are amazing creature and they deserve to be celebrated at all times.
This is a sister, a woman is a mother, so I always say that a woman is the best. It is because of women that we can see the light of the whole world and become beautiful human beings. No one else can do it like a mother beautifully nurtures her child. Reading your post I understand that you respect and love your sister and mother very much. And women are very soft and tender hearted people. They can take care of themselves by working at home and working outside. Best wishes to you @stef1

My family is not big on celebrating dedicated "days". But we respect and appreciate each other on regular basis with small gestures.

Wow, it sounds like you and your sisters had such lovely traditions for celebrating this holiday with your mother. It's so sweet that you all would compete to give her the best presents and see her smile. Those handmade gifts and children's drawings must have been so special to her. And bringing flowers, having a little competition to find the most beautiful ones, that's such a nice touch. I bet your mother felt so loved and appreciated. And of course, the cakes. It's always a joy to have a delicious homemade cake to celebrate with.
