This week topic for this contest are really more interesting. I want to write about all topics but I have to select only one. This week, I chose art for contest. Art is a good way to spend our leisure time, art gives me a lot happiness. I love to art and try to take every contest of art. Well come to point. In this post I am going to write about the interesting topic art. I am thankful to great Steemian lady @patjewell for organizing this contest.

Art

Art is an extensive category of activities involving creation and innovation of aesthetic emotions through use of creativity. Through its versatility, it is a source of social interaction, identity, and creativity, which can effectively embrace different languages and cultures. The history of art is enormous, and art was started from the time of cavemen paintings, and it passes through the renaissance period, which focuses on humanism and realism, the baroque period, which focused on drama and movement and modern art that do not follow the conventional practices and embrace and explore the abstract generations.

Different Forms of Art

There are many types of art and every one of them has its own way of showing and being introduced. Visual Art means the art of painting, sculpture, Photography and other related ways of portraying the world in different approaches and styles. The category of Performing Arts includes music, dance, and theatre since they offer deeds, which are unique and creative. Literary Arts include poetry, novels, and essays; works that rely on the power of good writing to stir feelings and communicate insights.

Digital Arts, a growing area of study, combines the usage of computers and technology in common art practices such as painting, animating, and constructing virtual reality.

Famous Artists

The most famous artist is Leonardo da Vinci. He is also scientists of the Renaissance age, who painted the most beautiful painting "Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper". Leonardo work very fine details, new concepts and feelings of humanity in depth.Van Gogh is also the most well known artists, he is the author of painting “Starry Night” and "Sunflowers". He was a post Impressionist painter characterized by their strong, expressive, and outlined colors and brushstrokes.Cubism was initiated by famous artists like Pablo Picasso who painted such art pieces as “Guernica” and “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon.”Frida Kahlo who painted self-portraits including the “Two Fridas” focused on her suffering and Mexico. It critiques conventional perceptions of beauty and touches upon issues of identity, which makes her a feminist and a cultural reference.

Art in Different Cultures

Art from different cultures is an ornamented collection of styles and techniques. African art is characterized by masks and sculptures where the objects possess mystic and societal connotations. Asian art, characterized by elaborate drawings, picturesque perspectives, and contrasting hues, embodies belief systems. Art such as totem poles and sand paintings also depict culture and heritage from Indigenous societies in relation to nature.

The Role of Art in Society

It became possible to state that art works are a reflection of social problems, social values, even the state of emotions. It remains very influential in political activism and social call for change given the ability of artists to use their art to appeal for change. Artworks, including paintings, posters, and other type of performing, can awaken and enthuse people and contribute to the struggle for justice.

Furthermore, art therapy also gives a lot of mental improvements as it becomes a therapeutic idea where the patient can express them self in different ways. In these roles, art is more than a recorder. It is a consequential catalyst as well as restorative part of societal existence.

Criticizing and interpreting art entails looking at those aspects such as organization, hue and view point to appreciate the work and the stile of the artist. Knowledge as to how balance, contrast, and harmony contributes towards this understanding.
