Choices! What will it be? #30

Hello dear fellows! How are you? I hope you will be fine and will be enjoying the nature and its beauty. I am @akmalshakir and I am here to participate in this beautiful contest of choices organized by @patjewell. If you want to participate feel free to show up here CONTEST & Winners! Choices! What will it be? #30 so guys let's start exploring my choice from the given things. I have chosen Space as mine choice.

Space

When we listen or read the word space the first thing which comes to our mind is all about the galaxies, universe, spaceships.

Space is defined as a three dimensional boundless place where everything has its own relative position as well as direction.

In space different events occur and the space is different from the universe because the universe is more versatile and it includes everything which has physical existence. And the space is the empty spaces between all these physical objects.

Space is mostly a vacuum and it has very low density and pressure due to which everything floats there with their relative position. It is actually an encapsulation around the earth where the celestial objects like stars, planets, galaxies and different types of energy exist.

Background of space

Space has a great importance in astronomy and astrophysics. As we know that humans have the power of thinking and observing things keenly. So in the ancient days when there was night people looked into the sky curiously as they saw stars in the sky. So they started thinking about the stars that how they exist and why they do not fall to the earth. The Babylonians and the Greeks started research at them and they were able to give different cosmological theories.

Heliocentric Model

In the 16th century at the heliocentric model was proposed. According to that model all the planets including earth orbit the sun in the space. And it was against the geocentric model which tells us that earth is in the centre of the universe.

Invention of telescope

As we all know and in the basic education concept of the telescope is given that it is used to see and observe the things far from the earth. And the first telescope was invented by the Galileo and he gave his observations and his observations were also supporting the heliocentric model.

Movement of things in the space

Every educated person is familiar with the Newtown who was a great scientist and physist. Due to the efforts of Newton we got to know the movement of the objects in the space. He gave law of motions and gravitational laws in which he explain gravitational force as well. He explained that how objects in the space move and he determines the motion of the celestial bodies with their orbits.

Sputnik - The first artificial satellite

The age of the space officially started at that time when the first artificial satellite was introduced in the space by the Soviet Union in 1957. It was the first human made thing which was sent into the space. And in this way many ways were opened to explore the space. Now it helped to increase the research with the authentic observations.

First person in the space

The researchers and the scientists devised Vostok 1 mission for the space. It occurred on April 12, 1961 and the Soviet Union Cosmonaut named Yuri Gagarin became the first person to orbit the earth. He completed his one orbit around the earth via the Vostok spacecraft and then he came back to earth. It made the space more authentic as everything was seen and captured by the human. It was indeed a great milestone.

Apollo Program (First landing at moon)

Space exploration had been continued. Day by day the work on the space had been revolutionized. Apollo Program is one of them which lead the first human landing at the moon. After that these experiments were continued and currently these are also going on to acces other celestial bodies in the space like mars and others.

Different companies are always working to improve the understanding of the space for the humans such as NASA, ESA, Roscoamos and some private institutions as well such as SpaceX. SpaceX program is getting value because of their dynamic work and beneficial strategies.

Currently India has tried and sent it's spaceship at the moon after a lot of struggle and work. This project had potentiometer and it was believed that it will surely complete their requirements and their mission to access and land at the moon will be completed. And I would be the first spaceship from India which will land at the moon. But unfortunately it was spoiled due to some mistakes and misunderstandings.

Space work in my homeland

Being Pakistani I also want to quote the contribution in the space by SUPARCO which is a Pakistani institution for the space. According to the availability of the resources Pakistan has contributed in the improvement and discoveries of different things in the space.

Pakistan has introduced different satellites in the space such as PAKSAT-I which is used for the communication purposes. Pakistan also has remote sensing satellite. Moreover my homeland has contributed in different international conferences. And it has worked with other countries as well at different missions. Moreover SUPARCO is increasing the awareness of space science and technology and promoting its education so that people can learn about space.

Conclusion

Space is very vast and every time due to the researches and developments new things are being discovered. It is a never ending topic where there is a lot to discover. And each discovery opening ways for the next opportunities and researches. As the doors of research are being opened by the daily life hard work it is becoming easy to understand the space. Every country and different private companies are playing their role discover the space things. They are trying to access other planets like moon and mars. Even some companies are planning to make tours at the space let's see if in future these things come into being or not.

I invite @mehwish-almas and @fatima66 to join this amazing contest.

we have same choice this time🤦 .....I read your post and you gave a very important perspective of space . Apollo missions were milestone in history , no doubt a game changer. I watch many documentaries on all programs . And it looks insane to be on moon. But I think mission of Indian space agency ISRO was successful , because it was designed just to land on loner south pole and collect record form surface. It was not designed to come back . Their was just a chance to return back when mission recharge via sunlight when it again fall on it....Okay next you tell about SUPARKO . A dream may come true, but I think it wouldn't . believe me or not take a look over last few heads of this department.

Hahaha 😂 literally we have the same choice. Let's see what SUPARCO does with actually it is all the game of budget and dedication and expecting dedication nowadays is looking like a dream.
