The diary game: 01/09/2020: Day 27 - Went to inspect the cleaning work going on in our temporary training facility!
Am happy to restart my diary posts this 1st of September 2020. We thoroughly enjoyed the August 1 week break for the diary games. In terms of the weather, we also enjoyed a period of time locally known as the August Break where the rains stop momentrily and usually restart in November. The rainy season in Nigeria starts from March to November. But there is a break in August.
I usually start the day with prayers and I did same today. After that, around 6am, I came online to check on our Whatsapp group chat and any updates from steemitblog. I also checked my posts engagement. For the day, I planned to go and see how cleaning work is going in a small hall we want to use as our Steemit training center. Little did I know that the August break was over and the rains returned with the turn of the new month. I left home around 10am. I went to collect my lab result. I ran a health check to make sure everything is fine. After collecting the result, I went to my sister whose mother owns a POS. I collected some money and spent little time there. When I was getting ready to leave, the sky darkened and the heavy downpour started.

the heavy downpourIt rained heavily close to 3 hours. I wa trapped and I knew that after the rain, I could not go to the training facility again because there will be traffic congestion. So after the rain, that was around 3pm, I headed back home. Before I could get the last taxi to my home, it started raining again. After about 45 minutes the rain stopped. Then I took a taxi home.

Telecom StickersBack at home, I ate around 5pm, and went to take some rest. Then around 7pm, I got up and made started this post which I could not finish. I also chatted with community members before I slept off for the night. This was how I spent the first day in September, a wet day actually.

@focusnow, you really had a busy day, but quite unfortunate that you were not able to get to the training center, i was really expecting to see the picture of our temporary hall in this post as soon as i started reading through the post. But this rain did not try at all.
Nice you shared your diary with us despite the fact that the rain spoilt things for you.

Hmmm.. That rain was funny oh, it doesn't want you to go back. Actually going for test is very essential but thank God you later went back. I know you have been working very hard to make sure newbies are all carried along thats good of you. Thank you for dropping it here. Really appreciate..

@bright-obias. Yes, it was a heavy rain. But I was able to do some of the things I went to do. We are really working hard on our community project. Thank you for your assistance so far.

No thanks to the rain that posed a hiccup to your movement to the training facility.
Proper diagnosis is important so as to know how to effect proper treatment.Health is wealth.

@beckie96830. Yes, we are working to see if we can use the facility. My health is great. I just went to make sure that my blood group and genotype haven't changed since the last time I checked in 2009. Everything is the same anyway, no surprises. Hope your wound is healing fast?

It's totally dried now but that part of my skin is looking like that of a leopard.

@beckie96830. You know I knew that it does not change. But wanted to have a current document for that. The one I did in 2009 looks old and untidy. I was not actually expecting any change, but a new or recent document.
Your skin will come back to normal with time. Any wound caused by fire normally changes the skin color, although it will be fine later.
A very beautiful day by doing very positive activities, meeting or gathering with loved ones is a very important thing in living a life.
