As a team, we tried as much as possible to assess all entries collectively before concluding on the winner's selection. So below are the assessments we took into consideration for the selection.
Firstly we ensured that all questions were properly answered and for those that needed a guide, we ensured to drop meaningful comments on their post hence below is the summary of the questions and the answers we also expected from the students.
In the first question, we asked students to refer to the sample lesson plan in the lesson we gave and also to develop a well-structured lesson plan with an emphasis on the presentation column and the conclusion column.
In the presentation column, we expect teachers to share with students their prior knowledge which will be a link to the new topic of discussion and then they are to go into the topic of discussion for the day presenting it in a very concise manner.
In the conclusion column, we expected teachers to conclude their lesson by summarising the entire course that they have taught and also asking questions, and finally giving the students an assignment task to test their understanding of the subject matter.
In the second question, we looked at classroom management which includes how to properly organize your class as a teacher in such a way that the students will pay attention and if for any reason there is any form of distraction, how does he handle it effectively? Since every teacher was once a student, they gave us valuable means to handle this issue.
Lastly, we looked at time management. Micro-Teaching as you know deals with the management of time, stage fright, and how to effectively compose yourself while teaching. Many means as to how this time can be managed properly were explained by the various participants.
In summary, the various participants demonstrated a very strong understanding of the topic under consideration, and that made the selection of winners even tougher for us. Based on that we took into consideration all the rules and guides listed in our application post to make the selection.
As I said earlier, it was a very competitive contest as every participant demonstrated a very good understanding and presentation of the homework task. The team was in constant communication with each other on deciding the winners. The committee's decision is final, we also include the reason why their post was chosen.

The author discussed extensively how he will manage his class, especially during periods of distraction while teaching which is one of the major problems that we wanted to see how teachers address when they teach in the class (classroom management).
The author also discussed very well on how to properly manage the limited time given for the teaching which was 20 minutes in this case. He broke down the activities that he would do within the allocated time to meet his target.
