The warriors gate

Januar 1st, 2020 doesn't feel much different from other days.

I woke up early and it isn't a day we eat special food. No need for cooking black-eyed peas for luck. I guess if such a habit/custom doesn't exist there's no need to be scared of bad luck either.

The last days of 2019 I was super busy on Steem mainly because the internet was a bit better.
It gave me the opportunity to read more, watch photos and figure out things I do not understand.

The children watched a series together on Netflix and I watched "The warriors gate".

It is hard to believe but single moms seem to be interesting to make a film about. Another single mom with her only kid (those dealing with five or more are not interesting enough I guess) is what this film is about .

They have their worries.
Since mom did not sell one single house in the past six months their house needs to be sold. Son Jack is mainly gaming and at the game, his nickname is the black night. It does not fit him since he is bullied.

Mr. Chang likes his employee Jack and gives him good advice (do not run hit back) and a present that belongs to his family for a long time.
It turns out to be the gate to the other world. A world that has a lot in common with the game Jack plays and where his help is needed. A Princess should be protected, an empire saved, we meet a wizard who turns out to be the spitting image of Mr. Chang and this all because he is the black knight.

Once Jack jumped into the basket to save the kidnapped princess we enter a world full of magic and even the barbarians are great and funny.

This one I will watch again for sure.
