What a lovely day we had! A Christmas celebration with lots of love, joy, laughter, and, yes, lots of food.
One of my most joyful moments was seeing that Elfie, the grandchildren's "Elf on a Shelf," has gone back to Santa until next year. Believe it or not, this is after the naughty bugger opened the kids presents and made them turn into charcoal!
I hope that the magic of Christmas has also filled your heart with joy today.

Steem For Ladies
We are still working hard in this community. This week we received an average of 20 posts per day.
My duties:
- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 7 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 3 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
General:
Lending a helping hand to my fellow Steemians is still the first priority on my list. This week, I could assist four Steemians via the various social media platforms. Numerous Steemians were also helped via the platform.
Africa:
It is still a priority to support Steemians from Africa by giving advice, supporting posts, and commenting.
Communities:
No advice was given to any community.
Issues encountered:
No serious problems were encountered this week.
What I have seen was a number of new “faces” on Steemit.
I want to encourage those who introduce Steemians to the platform not to leave them “high and dry” but to encourage and help them with their posts.
And if you don’t have the time to train and educate, please pass them to me.
