Namaste Steem Family,

In the recent weeks, I have faced many challenges in the sense that we have now made the machines available to the users that we recruited from the guidance center, but the users are not showing up to write their posts.

There have been many factors contributing to this. One of the primary reasons is that most people have been on vacation over the past few weeks and spent the majority of their time with their families, relatives and friends.

Several people went out of station for sightseeing, and I cannot seriously accuse anyone of failing to turn up at the guidance center because as individuals, we are all given the opportunity to live our own lives and to enjoy them in the manner we choose to do so. The only thing I can ask of these users is that they come to the guidance center when they have time or when they return from vacation.

Over the past few weeks, I have also been providing guidance and assistance to newcomers in the areas they already have some expertise in. It is possible that they can use this expertise to approach clients for freelancing work and earn some income for themselves.

Why would I want to educate our members on how to earn an income through freelancing? I am concerned about this, as most users who join Steem do so with the intent of earning tokens and then withdrawing them and selling them. This presents a significant disadvantage for the platform.

It is my intention to provide users with a separate source of income rather than relying solely on the Steem network for income.

In the event that these users are offered the opportunity to earn money, I am confident that they will save and power up the majority of their earned tokens, and they may also convert some of their earned income into Steem tokens. Their accounts will grow quickly as a result of this.

A Case Involving Two Friends Who Were Accused Of Being Account Farmers

Two friends from south India, @shravana and @saravanann, have almost the same name and both attend the same college. As @shravana invited @saravanann to Steemit, his name appears in @saravanann's achievement 1 task.

The two friends claim they regularly discuss topics they write articles on with each other, this is what they did during the most recent engagement challenge season. While writing on the same subject as @shravana, @saravanann also copied parts of his article. The community's moderator, upon finding plagiarism, alleged that both accounts posted in the same community with some similarities in their articles, and therefore they are both account farmers.\

Based on the allegations that these users were account farmers, steemcurator01 trusted the moderator that they had done proper investigation and instructed the moderators from other communities to remove the votes and ban both users.

As a result, both users had been tagged as account farmers, although I as well as @deepak94 have already established that both of these users are unique and the only mistake one of them made was to copy parts of the article during the last season of engagement challenge.

My understanding is that plagiarism is an offense that can result in an account getting banned from a community. However, when the case involves plagiarism, why was the moderator attempting to make it appear that account farming was involved? Additionally, the account of another user (who is innocent) has been banned from a number of other communities.

I believe that in the event that a user is concerned about some activity from a country that they do not belong to and have no knowledge of, they should ask the country's representative first. Due to the differences in our cultures and ways of doing things, you may get confused by a number of things.

During the verification process, greeters have asked us questions such as “why has a particular girl put on a dark dot on their forehead?”. The dark dot on the forehead is known as a bindi, and many women place them in accordance with the tradition, and this practice is also followed by women in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and other neighboring countries.

Whenever you have doubts, speaking with a country representative will only help you gain a deeper understanding of something and it will also prevent you from making a significant error.

I have recently been appointed as a greeter in the newcomers community, the responsibility of which is to provide assistance to newcomers joining from India. Since I was assigned the post only a few days ago, I have verified many users and welcomed them to our community.
