BTC Price Drop, Navigating the Volatility of Cryptocurrency

in zzanlast year

Many rookies and market participants had been expecting a new bull season recently, but a huge drop in price by over 11% has left many investors confused and questioning their investment decisions. Once again, I am reminded of the importance of risk management, and how crucial it is to have a clear self-guideline and control FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

In the past year, we have seen several examples of huge price drops in the cryptocurrency market followed by recoveries. For instance, in May 2021, Bitcoin experienced a price drop of over 30% due to China's crackdown on crypto mining and trading, but the price has since recovered and even surpassed its previous all-time high. Similarly, in September 2021, the cryptocurrency market experienced a sharp price drop due to regulatory concerns, but the market has since recovered and stabilized.

It is essential to remember that the worst investment results often come from a greedy mindset that fails to consider risk management. If one does not have enough seed assets to invest a significant amount of money, it is important to accept that reality and invest smaller amounts that can yield more stable returns over time. Consistency and a high winning rate are more important than trying to make quick gains.

Every day and every week are full of opportunities and risks in the cryptocurrency market. It is important to stay vigilant and not get swept away by hype or influencers who attract many investors to put their money in at once. Exchanges, CZ, and all Chinese funds are constantly trying to take advantage of investors, so it is important to be cautious and do thorough research before investing.

Recent examples have shown that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and requires careful risk management and a clear investment strategy. It is essential to remain patient and consistent, rather than succumbing to the temptation of quick gains.

I hope you spend a peaceful weekend, and I recommend listening to Murray Perahia's rendition of Bach's French Suite No. 4 in E-flat major, BWV 815
