One of the oldest openings in chess history is the King's Gambit. To introduce this opening is superfluous for many, but recently some innovations have become commonplace which are used even by the top players of the world elite to surprise their opponents. I decided on the variant King's Gambit Declined, Queen's Knight Defense with knight c6 with the black pieces and got through the tournament well. With white I couldn't help but through all pieces in the direction of the opposing king and play for mate from move 2 on. skzap (@heimindanger) could clearly win the tournament, in his 7 games he was always the winner!

Eine der ältesten Eröffnungen in der Schachgeschichte ist das Königs Gambit. Dieses Eröffnung vorzustellen ist für viele überflüssig aber in letzter Zeit haben sich doch einige Neuerungen eingebürgert die selbst von den Top Spielern der Weltelite benutzt werden um ihre Gegner zu überraschen. Ich habe mich für die Variante King's Gambit Declined, Queen's Knight Defense mit Springer c6 mit den schwarzen Steinen entschieden und bin damit gut durch das Turnier gekommen. Mit Weiß konnte ich nicht anders als alle Figuren in Richtung des gegnerischen Königs in Marsch zu setzen und von Zug 2 an auf Matt zu spielen. skzap (@heimindanger) konnte das Turnier deutlich gewinnen, bei seinen 7 Spielen war er immer der Gewinner!
