Tips to Always Get Creative Ideas for Writing on the Steemit Platform - Season2 - My Experience sharing

This is my response to the @steembetterlife community Contest- Contest: Tips to Always Get Creative Ideas for Writing on the Steemit Platform - Season2

For a person who wants to write daily on Steemit, it does become challenging to think about what to write and also how to present it. It is possible that when you write for too long monotony can set it, and hence for the same reason one must always try to make their content diverse and real as much as possible.

Today I am sharing here for the contest some of my tips that I follow personally to keep writing on this platform with a aim of continuing on a long term basis.

• Write on diverse topics - Each one of us have hobbies, likes, dislikes, knowledge gained in life to share and that could be leveraged upon in making the blog. Psychology is the most common subject that I see in blogs. It is good to share that knowledge with people, but at the same time, when the psychology related content is mixed with real life situations then that holds a lot of weightage in one's blog. In my work of healing, I come across all types of life situation, and my own life has been on the rocks for major part of my life and that gives me so much to talk about and share when I write on giving advice to people about certain values of life. Travelling, Reading, Movies, Dining are other topics that I write on with my own real life experience.

• Share real life day - to day stories- When I share my real life day to day story, I feel that I am engaging in a much better manner. I do not have to open up my life completely, but giving a little glimpse of life makes us connect with one another on personal grounds. Also I feel sharing real life makes the content more genuine.

• Picture story - Sometimes it is nice to just give a picture story, all the time writing big blogs make it boring for people to read. A visual story with a little content just enough to describe the picture is much more interesting and engaging. When I am travelling, I look around me to see what's the story in it and click pictures to build my story around the experience that I go through in that place.

• Contest creativity - I feel motivated to participate in various contest, it allows me to think that what is not in my radar. It kind of opens up possibilities for my mind to think beyond what I am already capable of.

As I mentioned that just writing about psychology and giving advice may not work all the time in the blogs and it makes the content dull after a certain point of time, no matter however good you are, but just one thing does not work all the time. I try to make my content as much as possible personal, so that my readers can relate to what I am writing and it does not make them feel like they are reading a page from a text book.

The person who inspires me on Steemit with creativity is @stef1. She is a super active person on this platform and so well engaged with everyone around. Her posts are creative in many ways, she is an art lover and there are fine pieces of her art that she puts up which defines her génuines in all ways. Not only that, she is always on a watch out if there is anything wrong going around and brings it to light, this is also a talent that is required for this platform to grow.
