Hello good day fellow steemians. Hope you all are doing great. My team and I decided to hold an online steemit orientation and recruiting session. What we yesterday which was day one was mainly to give an orientation about steemit and get people who are convinced to join the platform.

A WhatsApp group was created by @b-naj (team head) and he was assisted by @shance-light and myself. We also had the presence of @majerius who also stepped in to help us through the process since he has been in the platform actively longer than us all.

we started by sharing the link of the WhatsApp group on various platforms. The picture shows me sharing it on my WhatsApp status. I also in boxed some people to further explain things about the motive of the group and the steemit platform.

I tried my best to add my voice and to make people who want to join know that it’s not a fast cash system. We actually need to put in some work to attain our goals and earn money on the platform. I also tried to emphasize on the key things we need to grow in the steemit platform.

upon entry we had over 40 participants but when it was time to start just 23 participants indicated. So we had to screen the group and work with them.

The session started a little late due to some circumstances but we did anyways so here’s what we did.

The picture on the left is an introduction done by @b-naj about steemit and everything. The picture on the right shows the question we will be elaborating on for better understanding.
After the every series of explanations we open the group for questions from the participants.

the picture on the left shows the sample of questions some participants asked and their questions were well responded to by the whole team, that is, @b-naj, @shance-light, @majerius. Trust me there were a lot of questions but nevertheless we tried our best.

We later moved to creating of accounts, we explained step by step as much as we could. Some participants already created accounts and some are still creating. Statistics about that will be said in the day 2 session.

Yesterday’s session was massively interactive and the participants showed a lot of interest and enthusiasm to learn and join the platform. We faced some problems like

Difficulty to creat accounts
Some people where u fashionably late for that session
Some still weren’t convinced and left the group
Some participants slept off since it was getting late.

Day 2 Program

The program for this evening will be mostly on

Continuation to creat accounts.
How to navigate through the steemit platform and use the platform properly.
Creation of achievement 1 posts.

In general conclusion the session was good and we are looking forward to today session and organizing more sessions. Hopefully our sessions will be more physical with the general public.
