PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

For the past seven(7) months, I have been using one initiative to promote steemit, either through road shout-out or just wearing steemit polo. This initiative has really worked. I won’t say it has always worked but I will say, it is effective so far. And I want to use this medium to thank whoever came up with that idea.

So, today I thought of trying another approach to promote steemit and what came to my mind was just so interesting. What was that? I’m sure you have seen it from the topic of the article. Yes, promoting steemit by creating steemit flyers and posting on other social media sites. That can also be super effective, little wonder then why big companies pay promoters to publish or advertise their products on social media. Thousands of people visit Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp and we have most of these applications on our phones. So, let’s say, we have a lot of friends on our WhatsApp contact lists, and we happen to post a particular product on our WhatsApp status, at least 75% of them would be curious to know what it is all about. And so, since we can promote steemit through any means, I consider creating a digital flyer and posting them on my WhatsApp status. I also share them on my Facebook page.
I ensured to tag the flyers with appropriate keywords. 95% of us steemians also have other social media account where we post our pictures, and you will agree with me that whenever there is a hashtag on such a platform, it goes viral to a level we can’t even imagine. For instance, whenever there is a happening that affect human right in a particular region, most people use the hashtag to publicize it. It makes it easier to find a piece of particular information and easy to be accessed by all.

CONCLUSION

If a hashtag is created on a different social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and each week after all the steemians have gone out for promotion, they can post such pictures on their social media and also use the hashtag by so doing, it will create more popularity. People need to know about steemit by all means.
