Introducing myself / ¡Presentándome!
Hello friends, my name is Maite, I am 32 years old, I am Venezuelan, I live in Maracay, a city in the center of the country also called the garden city. I am a lover of music, graphic design and social media as a means to promote ideas.
Hola amigos, mi nombre es Maite, tengo 32 años, soy venezolana, residente de una ciudad del centro del país llamada Maracay, también conocida como la ciudad jardín. Soy amante de la música, el diseño y las redes sociales como medio para promocionar ideas.
Since I was little I always felt a vocation to help others, so I decided to study nursing and specialize in surgery. I practiced my profession for many years and that allowed me to sensitize in many ways. Currently, for several reasons, I am not exercising my career, but it is still something that I love and that I will never stop being.
Desde pequeña siempre sentí una vocación por ayudar a los demás, sean conocidos o no, por lo que decidí estudiar enfermería y especializarme en el área de quirófano. Ejercí mi profesión durante muchos años y eso me permitió sensibilizarme en muchas formas. Actualmente por diversas razones no me encuentro ejerciendo mi carrera, pero igual es algo que amo y que nunca dejaré de ser.
Lately, I had to take a turn professionally, I learned to design with several programs and then I started using and managing social media and offer advertising services to make a living; and that is my current job. With everything that is happening worldwide with the Covid-19 and although I work from home, many of the people I worked with canceled their contracts and that has certainly lowered my income. For this reason, I decided to join this platform and begin to tell you a little about my experiences, my day to day and also try to have an extra income to help financially at home.
Actualmente tuve que dar un giro profesionalmente, aprendí a diseñar con varios programas y comencé a usar y manejar las redes sociales y ofrecer servicio de publicidad para ganarme la vida; y esa es mi profesión ahora. Con todo lo que está sucediendo a nivel mundial con el Covid-19 y aunque yo trabajo desde mi casa, muchas de las personas a las cuales les trabajaba, cancelaron sus contratos y eso ha bajado un poco mis ingresos. Por eso, decidí unirme a esta plataforma y comenzar a contarles un poco de mis experiencias, mi día a día y también tratar de tener unos ingresos extras para ayudar económicamente en casa.
In addition to everything I have told you, I am very passionate about music, I play the guitar and the bass guitar; during this quarantine I have been venturing into a new instrument, the conga drums; I will tell you how it has been.
Además de todo lo que les he contado, me apasiona mucho la música y toco varios instrumentos como la guitarra y el bajo; durante esta cuarentena he estado incursionando en un nuevo instrumento, las congas, luego les iré contando como me ha ido.
Basically that is who I am, I hope I can integrate into the communities and users that coexist in this platform and also know about you and your hobbies.
