Weekly moderator report for steem4nigeria 24th July-30th 2023

Hello beloveds Steemians 💝

You all are highly welcomed to my blog for today, Here I will be giving a well detailed report about my weekly moderation for last week, well we all thank God for equipping we the moderators and also for giving us the strength to keep accomplishing this tasking work.

I will also love to say that our work throughout last week was successfully completed and accomplished, and our Target is to ensure the following.

• That all contents are being checked and reviewed
• Ensure that member obey all the rules and regulations guiding steemit Ecosystem
• Ensure that this great community grow and becomes the best community Ever.
• Guiding all newbies And many more

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION

As a moderator, we have many jobs to do as to take the community to a greater height and the most important job includes REVIEWING OF ARTICLE being published by our esteem members. This is made compulsory to ensure the following

• Orderliness
• Pick point and amend most area members need to improve on
• Ensure that their contents is well organized and of good quality
• Ensure that there is no atom of Plagiarism in every aspect
• Guiding and helping members become good content Creator.

This is also among our Target, and we ensure that it's been achieved before the week runs down. In reviewing articles, we also focus on many areas members are constantly falling victims of and need to be corrected, They include the following

• Newcomers achievement post
• power down
• plagiarism
• Bot service check
• Ai check
• steemexclusive
• club status
• voting CSI
• word check
• markdown!

So looking at how things went last week, I totally believed that all these were checked effectively and corrections were also made

CONTEST HOSTED

As for last week, an interesting contest was hosted which was titled LOCAL SPICES, It was really an interesting contest and successfully went as drafted. In this particular contest, members were expected to discuss on different spices they normally use in their local dishes, how it are being measured and quantified when using them and also describe if they have any medicinal value to human health.

According to this contest, We had about 6 participant and they all gave a well detailed explanation and also followed all the necessary Guidelines as prescribed in the contest. Also, this contest stands to be the most interesting contest hosted as of last week and the results will soon be out.

MY DUTY DAYS

As a moderator, you will be assigned to perform some specific duty in the community. So, according to our private chats as mods, we agreed on specifics days for each person to work in the community as to ensure that we keep moving forward. So my duty days are Wednesday and on Sundays. But for Sundays's Everyone is also expected to work including all the mods and also myself. Therefore, it is said that my centered day to work is only on Wednesday, while on Sunday all mods are then expected to join hands and work together.

MODS AND DUTIES

Above are the respective days that all mods are expected to work. Furthermore, all mods also expected to perform certain duty aside from reviewing posts. They include the following duties below
Mods now have the duty of handling some responsibility in the community

Okere-blessing	Ensuring 100% post-review from Mods. (Incidences of Skip posts should be handled)

All this tasking vesting on each and every one of us is to ensure the smooth running of the community and to ensure that there is orderliness in every aspect.

Reviewing Guidelines

In reviewing content, there are some Guidelines we moderator take and aspect we also focus on. I always ensured that I used the review Guide template designed specifically for the community, which you can find below.

OBSERVATION

When reviewing this post above I noticed some certain mistakes that was made which I also corrected. The included the following below 👇

• I observed that most users voting CSI were too low and needed Improvement, so I help Encouraged them to keep Voting at least 100 percent of their voting power and also comment on other users' content.

• I also observed that most users didn't make proper used of the necessary markdowns which are needed for the organization of their post, Which I also help Encouraged them to apply always

• I also observed that most users are finding it difficult in Grammar and also in spelling and I wish to keep improving on that

CONCLUSION

Indeed, we are ready to embrace change and also focus on members' development and growth, and we also thank you all for your support.
