Contest Result: My Plans For 2024 1st Quarter
Such an interesting contest to end the month. This contest has undoubtedly helped many set up goals and plans for next year and how they intend to achieve these plans. Many people end up becoming successful failures this year because they didn't plan earlier enough.
There were 30 participants in the just concluded contest and these participants told us their plans for the 1st quarter of 2024 which makes a whole lot of sense and shows they really want to invest in their future next year. The entries were top notch no doubt but since it is a contest, we have only 3 winners.

I was very strategic about this and I used the following to access the work of all participants.
- Engagements
- Quality of Posts
- Use of pictures
- Abiding by the rules
These can be reflected on your grades which I made over 50. Quality posts took 20 marks while the rest were 10 marks each. Those who failed to Resteem the contest post and other rules had a shortage of 2 marks. I discovered many took to using their personal pictures in conveying their points which seems unrelated.
Your use of pictures must rhyme with what you're writing except otherwise. Some used just a picture in their post which doesn't show professionalism. At least 2 or 3 is preferred. Yet, others used pictures that were consuming their writeups. You can barely see what they've written. It's just the pictures.
The markdown style application of some were poor which deducted their marks. Some choose to make their post very short, below normal. Those who had high marks dropped because of engagements. I think we'll all put this in practice next time to make our posts irresistible.

We all did great. Don't feel bad about the gradings. It's a way to help you do better in any contest you participate in. Little things like these are sometimes considered. Concerning those who have a tie, I had analyse their engagements, use of pictures and quality post to select them as top. _Fair and Square. One of the reasons many don't win contests on steemit. Let's learn.
