SEC S17W4: "Craft in honor of the worker"

Have been long expecting creativity activities right from the first week of this engagement challenge in this community, I am a love of craft and I make use of any opportunities that I see concerning craft.
In this contest I will be on recycling, I turned my condem bag to a brand new luxury dressing bag.

This particular bag has been here in house for over 5 years now, and I barely use it because the beed that was making the bag looks beautiful pull off.

When I saw the contest topic, I said to myself that this is the best time for me to renew the bag. Thanks once more @recreative steem for coming up with such an amazing topic, is an avenue where we can display our talents and shows the kind of work we do.

Before I was able to come up with this beautiful craft work, there are some materials which I used to achieve this aim.

• different types of trimmings
• Multipurpose glue
• Light cloth material
• My old small bag

Since the originality of this bag was silver, that's why I decided to continue with silver

This was how the bag was before I rebrand it.

From the picture you can see that the bag was condemned, and it was rusty. But when I look at the inside, it was still brand new, there was no stain in it, so I decided to make use of it.

This particular bag right now in the market is very costly, it might cost up to 18000 naira or more, but the amount I use in renewing the bag didn't cost me up to 4000 Naira.

firstly, I make sure that the surface was okay, so I picked up my silver material which I use as the base, take a measurement that will be able to cover the body of the bad.

I use this glue and I apply it on the body of the bag, then keep it to dry, I apply glue to the material and I keep it to dry, this particular glue, you don't use it when it is wet, you make use of it when it is dry so that you can have a strong and a lasting ending.

Then when it was dry I first of all cover one side of the bag, I make sure it was well covered, and since the material was very light, I double the material so that it will cover the first background perfectly well and make sure that the rust was not showing.

After covering the first side and I make sure it was okay, I did the same thing to the second side of the bag.

After covering, the beauty of the bag began to show even when I was not done with the design.

SECOND STEP

So when I was done with the covering, I proceed to the second stage, there is this shinny trimmings that I bought, it was the first design that I use it for.

So I use the trimmings and my glue, then cover the whole body of the bag with it with the help of my glue.

THIRD STEPS

After covering, I noticed that the bag was becoming so expensive, the whole body was covered as you can see. But before I can succeed, it must be neat though i have another trimmings that I will use to tiny up the craft.

So guys s as you can see the bag us taking another shape, it was becoming so expensive, I make sure that all the rough part was well taken care of, I neatly amend every ages. There was no trace left behind to show that it was a hand made.

lastly

There is this other trimmings, it comes with bead, it more costly than any other trimmings that I used, so I use it to do the final touching. When I saw this trimmings, I said to myself that it will really go well with the bag, it makes the bag looks very expensive and classic.

At this post I was done with the rebranding of my bag, as you see how beautiful it is, I will rog my bag to any occasion and be proud that is my hand work.
