Hello dear kids, trust you are all doing great and having fun.
It is my delight to welcome you all to this new week and new season of the skids-corner contest. we are very happy to see that you are all having fun with this contest and making new friends. Soon we will be announcing who the kid celeb is for this month and so keep on the watch and keep participating here till then.
we express or appreciation to the active kids and you all deserve huge rewards. Thank you all for your good work in contributing to the community.
Each week we will be bringing in new theme for you to deliberate on. We want to make sure that you make meaningful interactions here and also learn from others. The theme could be to write stories, debates, about the chores you are doing or any proposed topic. You will be having the discussions under this post in the comment section of this post.
Try to engage with others by commenting on what they wrote about the weeks topic. It can form a basis for discussion.
My first day in school
This week we want you to write about your first experience in school. It may be your first day at high school, Primary or nursery, anyone you remember. Write it like an essay with the heading "My first day in school", then include the school level you are talking about.
Tell us how you felt about school that day ad what you experienced. You can also include how you feel noww about school.
Please be sure to follow the guidelines below:
- Write in not less than 50 words and not more than 150 words
- It Is better to put at least one image that shows what you mean
- Please try to make comments on the entries of others
- Mention friends to participate and to comment on your own entry.
- Write it as a comment under this post
- You may only write one entry but do meaningful engagements by making comments and replying to others.
Apart from writing and commenting, you can also share the link to the post you made in the community here and invite others to comment on it. Also you can say hi to your friends and invite them to the contest...

Reward system
We still keep 30 steem for all kids who join this contest.
We will share:
15 steem to three most engaging kids.
- 1st place__7 steem
- 2nd place__5 steem
- 3rd place__3 steem
10 steem will be shared to all those who made entries to the weeks theme. The remaining ones will share 5 steem that is left.
With this everyone who participates gets rewarded.
Winning criteria
The winners will be chosen from those who wrote according to the weeks theme and that commented on the entries that others have written.
This contest will continue till the end of 4 weeks and then the most engaging kid will be celebrated. He will be labelled Steemkids celeb and will be given a reward.

My first day at school
My 1st day at school was terribly exciting. I visited the faculty with my mother in a van. We reached the school in time. I felt both excited and frightened. The principal smilingly asked me what was my name. I answered him smilingly too. I Bade my mother bye-bye and visited the room with the teacher. I found my classmates terribly friendly. once finishing the categories, I came home. I shared all of my recollections with my mother. It absolutely was an unforgettable day in my life.

My first day at school
Well my first day of school was both scary and happy. That day I could vividly remember I woke up so early did my morning chores and waited for my mum. My mom took me to the school the first day that was my first time being in a very big school. I stood at the gate and gasped because it was beautiful and large. When my mom left I the vice principal directed me to my class. I stood in front of the class as the only new student I felt scared. But my classmate were friendly not as I thought.
After that day I made friends and I enjoyed school. My first day of school was fun and exciting but terrible at the beginning.

My first day at school
I don't exactly remember my first day at school but i remember that i was not happy about it. I was scared of leaving my mother that day, before that i never happen to leave the house without my mother. She made me a tiffin which had some of my favorite meals and a bag which didn't have any books :D When i ask my mother about that day, she tells me that she was sad as well. Because i have left her for the first time.

Here I want to share with you my first day at college. Sorry I haven't been present because I've been busy with many things.
My first day at college
Talking about my first day of college makes me excited. Although my first day at primary school was scary and I didn't know what was going to happen, I was in fear of everyone then.
My first day of college was when I was 12 years old. Then I considered myself to be little for college since I've heard many things that happen in college. I was a bit afraid.
But when I got to school, all my dear vanished as I met new friends, they were every funny and friendly and I really enjoyed it then. Also the teachers were very kind to me as a new student and Hy mad me excited. I also learnt a lot of things on that day because I was given attention.
