Food challenge contest week #62|| For kids and parents| Teach The Kids/Kids Food Challenge| How to make flower pitha.
bismillahir rahmanir rahim,
Hallo friends,
I am @selina1
From #bangladesh,
I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of Allah. Alhamdulillah, I am also well and healthy with your prayers. As always, I participate in this beautiful contest organized by steem kids&parents community. However, due to my busy work, I could not participate in this contest. So first I am participating in this contest by thanking this community. So let's get started.
Today the food recipe that I will share for this contest is flower Pitha. And this flower pitha is a traditional pitha of our Bangladesh. This pitha is usually made on occasions such as weddings, sunnat khatna festivals, family festivals, religious festivals such as Eid, Puja etc. So thought I share this pitha with you today. And this pitha has to be made by a few people, it cannot be made alone. So my recipe today is totally different.
Here's what I need to make this flower pita recipe.
Necessary materials:
name | quantity |
---|---|
Rice powder | 3 kg |
Hard cuts of palm trees | Few |
Soybean oil | 2 kg |
Salt | as much |
water | as much |
Now I will put the amount of water in a pot and put it on the stove and boil it. Add the rice powder to the boiling water and make it like a bread maker.
Now I will take it well. Now I will take a small amount of oil in a bowl. Then I will make bread thickly with the help of a bread maker.
After that, draw a flower of my choice in the middle of the prepared bread and give it the shape of a flower by giving it the shape of a palm thorn. Now I will cut the delicate side of the flower and cut it thinly.
On the other hand I will heat the oil well in a pan and leave the flower pithas in the oil and remove them when they turn brown.
Then this flower pitha can be served with gur or sugar syrup. But I will serve this pita here with sugar vein. My today's flower pitha recipe is done.
Now I will take a selfie with this flower Pitha recipe of mine.
I would like to invite some of my friends to participate in this contest, they are: @mfd @afrinn @anikkhan1
