Forgiveness unites family
Greetings to all members of this beautiful community who's interest is in the welfare of kids, parent and the whole family. Congratulations to Steem kids for participating in this round of engagement challange.
What is Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the act of convincing yourself to let-go of any hut feelings of anger or resentment that we hold towards someone who did something that wronged us.
Forgiveness as a smart way of moving on and releasing ourselves of the emotional burden that comes with keeping a grudge so that we can heal from the pain that came from another person's action.
Forgiveness and your health
Studies have shown that forgiveness can have a positive impact on a person's physical and mental health. Supporting an old saying that a heart that is calm is good medicine but jealousy makes our bones rotten
forgiveness keeps our stress levels down, making us less likely to suffer from anxiety and depression. Holding animosity is linked to increasing blood pressure, and heart conditions.
Dr. Fred Luskin in his studies also found that people who have forgiven others are most likely to experience a greater sense of well-being.

Forgiveness and your family happiness
In a family, it is expected that members will step on the toes of others, resulting in the old saying that a successful marriage is a union of two good forgivers.
And the forgiving attitude will have to continue when the couple have children.
Assuming a member of your family is holding a grudges or harbor resentment against another member, this situation will create a lot of tension and conflict in your home.
Learning to have a kind of Forgiving attitude in the family will act like lubricating oil, reducing the friction and heat that is produced when family members rub on each other during their daily activities.
This will make the family members work together easily, creating bonds of friendship that glue the members together in unity.

Experience
Once my brother missused his tuition fees, he was hoping the money will be available on time to pay but it fail him and the school called Mum.
The situation was leading to a lost of trust till my brother finally showed proof that he has paid the fees.
Now it was time for Mum to forgive him.
He asked for forgiveness and made it easy by fixing the problem and he explained to mum that he had used the money for a business deal that was supposed to pay 2 weeks before the examination week.
He convinced Mum that it was not his plan to misuse his tuition fees and showed the profit he made from the deal.
• Will you forgive me if you find out that it was me and not my brother?
• Will you still trust me?
Forgiveness is not easy
Forgiveness needs work from both the person who did wrong and the person who was hurt.
Ask for forgiveness, show that you are sorry. This will make it easy for other members of the family to let go. And don't do it again.
Always try to forgive because you will need to be forgiven soon. And when necessary, forgive yourself.

Forgiveness is all about your peace of mind and it is expected that members will step on the toes of others.
What you have to do is to forgive.
Because even matthew 6 verse 14-15 says that if we forgive other people when they sin against us, our heavenly Father will also forgive us. But if we do not forgive others their sins,our Father will not forgive our sins.” so is good to forgive.

Forgiveness is a virtue that not everyone has, but whoever has this virtue is actually a great person. It is very easy to get angry but it is even more difficult to forgive others.
This line of yours touched my heart which you wrote in your post that a successful marriage is the union of two forgiving people, very beautiful.

You are right that forgiveness can have an impact on a person's life both mentally and physically. And it is a way of letting go grudges in heart and free ourselves from any hurts, in a family people are bound to step on others toes but for the sake of our mental health and peace of mind, we should learn to forgive. One thing I learn in your post is that forgiveness is like a lubricant oil that reduces the friction and het of a car, this means that forgiveness reduces the burdens in our heart and it set free our mind from depression, I agree that exercising forgiveness in a family creates bond and it brings the spirit of togetherness as a family. It is not easy to forgive but we all need to tried our best in forgiving others because we also need others people forgiveness, even our heavenly Father does forgive us so we all got every reasons to forgive others.
