Not long ago, I was living a life that is full of so much fun but I kept wishing for a different thing every single year. As I cut a cake for my birthday, my heart wouldn't wait to open that surprise gift that my parents got me NOT KNOWING that each year I cut that cake, came adulthood.

Who is considered a child in your country? Include age

Childhood simply still growing up.
One who is still living under their parents and living their life on rules and regulations of the parents and the school.
They simply are living a life where they are allowed to make mistakes because they will learn from them.

In my country, you are considered a child only when you are below 18 years.
Before one clock 18 years, you are still a child to your parents/guardians and they have every right to decide for you anything concerning your life.

Who is considered an adult in your country? Include age.

Adulthood is growing up. that time when the clock ticks and you feel it in your body that I am big.
There is growth in the body, feelings, responsibilities, and independence.

You are allowed to be you and do whatever you wish with your life.
Make choices and take full responsibility for them.
Adulthood in my country starts from 18 years and above.

I have been to adulthood and there is nothing really exciting there.
I always tell my children not to rush to grow up because adulthood is a lot of work.

It's childhood for me.

Reasons
Childhood is fun. it's a life lived with no worry about making mistakes, where will the money come from? how will people see me if I do this?
When you are a child, you live fully.

Protection and love.
In childhood, we are always protected by our parents and guardians. we are filled with the unconditional love of our parents and each day we live and move carefree knowing that we have people looking after us.

Life of no responsibility.
Everything is taken care of when you are a child;rent, food, medication, education.
You simply have no responsibility to worry and you only have to take care of yourself.

stages of growing up

Nowadays many children are growing up too fast and they are not getting a chance to enjoy their childhood.
This is something that will affect them mentally because we all need that stage of childhood.

Adulthood is hard, full of responsibilities where we have to work every single day to make ends meet BUT it's part of life because no one is going to stay a child forever.
Adulthood is part of life and it's the stage where we get to know the meaning of life.
Let's celebrate, embrace and enjoy every stage of it.
