THE DIARY GAME : 07/08/2020 : Pre-Birthday Gifts

I was in a middle of a beautiful dream. A phone call…., why can’t people just send a text message without calling. I just a checked the number with one eye and slept back as it was an unknown number. He he.. I just don’t answer calls with unknown numbers unless they call twice. The caller was not taking the loss, called again. Then I had to answer it. Call from a courier service. He said that I have a parcel and asked the way to home. Super idiot me… even without asking who the sender is, I told everything. He said that he would come here in the morning.

So, I had to got out of the bed and washed up. Then had a cup of tea and swept the garden. Then came to home and swept the floor. I was in the middle of the work, a call again. A boy came from DOMEX courier service and handed over a parcel.

With the hand writings, I recognised the sender. One of my school friends, Himasha.❤❤ She is somewhat far from our place but in the same district as me. It was a gift. For my special day. Tomorrow is my 25th birthday!!! She had sent the gift early.

Then I had my lunch and did some work of the design project. Then I spent around an hour in Steemit reading, commenting and upvoting. There was scheduled meeting with our design project supervisor at 3pm today and I was waited for it. As he could not came from the university, he postponed the meeting.

I was planning to go to the town today. As the meeting got cancelled, I got ready and left home around 3:30pm. I went by bus and needed to meet a friend there. He gave me some sweets and a big chocolate: it is also a pre-birthday gift. After he left, I went to ASB Fashion House to by a T-shirt to one of my friends who had birthday on a recent day. I was confused as I didn’t have anyone to support the selection. I selected one some how and went back to another shop called Dolosmahe Fashion as I needed to buy a saree for a wedding.

My mother and sister promised me to join there. So, I waited until they come. It was around 5:30pm when they come. Then we selected two sarees and one from my mother, again as a pre-birthday gift. We had some other needs too. After selecting them we paid the bills and meet our father who was waiting outside. We bought some Dhal Wade from a near by shop to Dolosmahe. This place is popular for its reasonable prices and the healthiness. This shop was there for years, from when we were kids. 😋

After coming back home, we changed into white colour clothes as we had a funeral to attend. As my brother had a tuition class, we dropped him and came back to funeral. After spending more than one hour there, we came back home.

Then I had a quick wash, and a quick dinner as I had rescheduled meeting at 9pm. It went around 1 and half hour. Then I started to type this. But interrupted by phone calls and messages for several times from design project group members and other friends.
