THE DIARY GAME : 04/08/2020 : A evening with friends

This is the fourth post from me for the #thediarygame. It's a new day and most importantly a holiday in #srilanka as tomorrow we have parliamentary election. Normally in holidays I spend my time with some friends. We planed to meet at Jungle Beach , Galle. A beautiful location in galle and which is very quite and clam. We planed to meet at 5.00 p.m at jungle beach. Normally we meet at the beach near the "Saama Stupa" , A Buddhist stupa which is located near jungle beach and it was a gift from #japan to Sri Lanka. As planned my friends Amila and Suran arrived the location.

And as you can see there is a ship in the image. It's called the " Sri Lanka Glory " . This incident made media heads in sri lanka some time ago. Actually this ship is still stucked their due to an accident .. and there was a great environmental issue as leaking oil from that ship made a major thread for the biodiversity around this area. So more than 14 tons of oil was removed from this ship and area.

Jungle Beach is a very beautiful location in Rumassala Mountain and attached with various historical incidents. It is very less crowded beach compared to Unawatuna main tourist beach as it's some what difficult to reach the beach through the jungle. Public is permitted to visit only a small portion of jungle beach and the rest of the beach is protected as a sanctuary as it is very rich with biodiversity. This jungle beach is very suitable for swimming and fishing and it is a archaeological site too. The main reason for the attraction is the beach is clean and surrounded with forest. We really enjoyed the beach and it was really quite and peaceful.

And we guys enjoyed a beer together. And discussed various topics till sun goes down.. most of them regarding the incidents when we were in university together. And also some political matters as election is tomorrow. Sun went down quietly. There was no golden sky at the sunset as usual because it was a rainy day. So the sky was very dull and dark.
So we stayed till the sun goes down and came back home. I enjoyed the evening lot with lot of old memories.
