Steemit Engagement Challenge Week # 4 | Propose A New Steemit Project-by weasell

Hi everyone, it good to have you guys back on this interesting topic. I have been on this platform for a while and I must say I am really impress and I will love nothing more than to see this platform move to a greater height. With that been said, in order to achieve this, they are some areas that need improvement and I will suggest a few so without further delay let get started.

• A new verification/ reward system for newcomer.

Achievements tasks are the first things to do on steemit and it a brilliant idea. It helps new users to get acquainted with the platform. The first four tasks are the most important because it talk the rules of this platform and how to make your article look attractive to your audience.

Been the first tasks a newcomer are expected to complete, it is very important that the verification and curation should be done on time to encourage the newbie to put in more effort because they will believe the system is there to reward their effort. It sad to say this is not the reality because we have seen many cases where achievement tasks expire and the user will have to redo another one.

My achievement 1 post took 5 days to be verified and I was really worried because I see some achievement post been verify under 1 day of posting. I know the grater are doing a good job but I think they is still room for improve on how fast they verify achievements tasks. Most grater are several communities MOD and county rep so combining all these works together seem stressfully and it will be hard to do all expected job efficiently.

I think this problem can be solve when a new verification and curation teams are been selected and the selected users should have only one main job so they can focus on their job in verifying and curating achievements tasks. I will like to see a situation where achievements tasks are been verify and curated within few hours of post. Steemit is growing at a good rate and I strongly believe the number of newcomer will keep increasing on daily bases and I won’t like to see situation where a newcomer is asked to redo his/her achievement post.

Concerning the problem of multiple farming accounts, a team with unknown identity can be selected to investigate all new account and report any suspicious act to the steemit team. If this team identity remain hidden they will be able to carry out they job without anyone suspecting and I am sure the cases of farming and misuse of privilege (booming) will reduce. I know we already have someone for this job which is endplagiarism but I think the job will be more effective if a team can be build around him/her.

• A new system of Crypto Academy.

The Crypto Academy has been one of the major attractive community on steemit and most users work really hard to get to the crypto academy some users lose interest on steemit because of this new form of crypto academy but I believe the old form of crypto academy and the engagement challenge can co-exist.

We have brilliant academy professor which can guild users in improving they knowledge on crypto. The crypto world is so wide and we see new development very day. If the old form of crypto academy is back it will attract new users who want to learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

• Steemit promotion on twitter.

Social media is the place to advertise anything you might be engage in to get people attention. Most cryptocurrency uses this platform to inform people who know little about their product as a medium to educative people on why they need to check it out. This has helped many crypto token increase its number of holder and their followers on twitter has greatly increase because of their constant update on the ongoing project.

It has never come to my mind to check if steemit platform has a twitter account because I haven’t heard of any outstanding new or update from twitter. I eventually checked and honestly I was not impress with what I saw. If I wasn’t on steemit and I am planning on joining and I decide to check steemit twitter page I may change my mind because of the update I am seeing on the page.

It looks boring and no major news about the platform it just contest entry or ongoing contest. Although steemit is a decentralized social media but I am sure some very important article made during the week can be posted and a contest update on how the steemit team are working on improving the platform will go a long way.
