Steemit Engagement Challenge 4 | STEEM GROWTH CONTEST - Theme : How many hours have you spent on steemit in the last week

In this week's contest, we are writing on the "How many hours have you spent on Steemit in the last week" where we talk about the time we have spent on Steemit.

Hours Spent On Steemit Last Week

So far since this engagement contest has been ongoing I have been engaged in it since. Though I'm a new member of the Steemit platform, I have been active since I joined the engagement challenge.

When I joined Steemit, I wasn't sure of what to expect, to even make matters worse I was going to write for as long as I can remember. One of the things that came creeping into my mind is that I'm not a good writer. So I wondered how I was going to be active on Steemit.

I was able to finish my achievement post and then I was told that I would do a daily diary and contest. I was able to do some of them, but I saw myself losing interest.

Then my recruiter told me that there was a contest ongoing at the moment that I should join. He assured me that it was interesting and it is something that I would enjoy. So I joined in the second week and I must confess it has been exhilarating.

Last week, I spent a good time on Steemit. I can't quantify it in minutes or hours, but I know that I was as active as I could. I was able to write four posts and publish them in different communities.

I participated in the engagement challenge given by steam foods where they asked about our favorite supermarket. I also did the challenge in Steem Entrepreneur when they asked about the Steem Culinary Contest. I performed in Steem Venezuela where I talked about my experience in the Diary Game. Finally, I performed in the Steemit Pakistan Community where I Defended the Statements given.

I wasn't able to engage with other people's posts that much because I didn't have the resources to do that. I was trying to write as much content as I could write and so writing and publishing took most of my time.

I haven't really gotten acquainted with the activities of the platform as I'm relatively a new person so I'm still getting used to the daily activities on the platform.

However, this engagement challenge has really livened things up for me. Every time I'm always agitated into writing so as to be able to participate fully. I also try to engage in other people's posts so as to follow the rules of engagement on the Steemit platform. With time I know that I would get used to the platform and get very active. This is because asides from participating in the engagement challenge, I would also be active in other communities such as SteemAlive, Steemkids, Steem4Nigeria, etc.

I have benefitted a lot this short period that I have participated in the challenge contest. I have become active. This one is very obvious because anyone who decides to participate in the contest becomes automatically active. I have improved the content that I publish. As I write more I noticed that I'm getting better with the content that I produce and publish. I have also begun to make new friends from near and far. People that I didn't really know exist on this platform, I'm beginning to meet with them one by one based on my engagements on this platform.

At this point, I don't think I have any ideas as to how the Steemit Engagement Challenge can be better. To me, it is okay as it is, but if other brings any good ideas that are unique, then we shall all go along with it.
