If you do not come to our house and participate in the carnival, you will miss a lot of fun of such a fun-filled event. The carnival of Goa is like what they celebrate in Portugal, or like they celebrate in Spain and Brazil. Carnivals are everywhere, like Mardi Gras in America and Australia, but the best one is here in Goa, and if you ask me the best of them all is in my village near Panjim on the way to Calangute.

If you believe in drinking wine and making merry, then you will find a beautiful and vibrant carnival of activities that will fill you with vibrancy and bright colors. This music feels like it's making its way through your heart. This carnival colors up all the roads in Goa and fills them with light.

It seems as if we are all brimming with excitement and enthusiasm as its residents, boys and girls, young and middle-aged, all turn into butterflies and fireflies and take to the streets. beauty, as we celebrate all good things on the streets! In fact, it is celebrated not only by us but equally by tourists from faraway places. After we plan our trip, we just keep an eye on the carnival and have fun.

Where would a carnival be without fireworks? It just can't happen as you immerse yourself in the joy of music and dance with fireworks for four full days at our carnival and watch this mesmerizing magnificence come to life. So come dance and move with dancing clowns, mermaids, and bands playing mesmerizing music.

Oye Oye, we Goans believe in Carnival as the Portuguese do. And after they leave, they believe more loudly. You have rightly said that this carnival is the end of the winter season, but winters do not come in Goa or they are very short. Well, we will not let the winter foods go to waste, but the carnival festivities will not leave any chance to drink and eat too.

Hey, our excitement and enthusiasm during Viva Carnival are greater than the rest of the year. My mother-in-law and I even dance with rest of the crowd. The time has come when the carnival will be opened for us by King Momo, and now the time has come for us to start all the carnival festivities in the presence of King Momo. King Momo says, "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry!"Source

What fun it will be when King Momo is in the lead and we all follow in a cavalcade of dancing dancers dressed as we please and women and old men dressed in whimsical outfits! All of us clowns, acrobats, bands, and our children follow King Momo in a grand march starting from the streets of our capital to Calangute.

What a joy it is to enthusiastically march to the beat of drums and the sound of firecrackers, ready to declare my love for someone at the carnival. This carnival creates a great atmosphere!

  
Now is the time to participate in dance competitions and impress your judges. I want to get the best dancer award on the last day of the carnival, and I am also ready to serve snacks and drinks to my guests for the grand carnival, so are you coming to participate in the carnival with me?

Do you know that we started preparing for the carnival in December itself? Even a few weeks before the carnival, young boys and girls started making masks. It is the youth who keep this carnival alive! Do you know that according to our custom here, after the carnival, we go to our friend's houses and play pranks on them? So I am waiting for you with brightly lit bulbs in my house. Bring your best mask because my children in London are getting ready to take part in their dresses prepared for the occasion.

But the only condition is that you must come in your best red and black dress. Our Viva Carnival does the Red and Black Dance best in red and black dresses. We don't mind whether you wear western or folk clothes; our people wear them all.

If dancing is your passion my amigos and you don't mind our crowded festivals, then just dress up, put on your mask, and shake your legs or whatever you want to shake because once you drink our fenny, everything shakes and follows King Momo.
