My Introductory Post

Hello everyone, my name is Alexander Kemann. Am a young Nigerian man currently based in Nigeria as well.

I'm the fifth in a family with six kids, and we grew up in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Lagos Nigeria. As a child, I had to experience a lot of things children never should. I guess that's why I always seem to have a different perspective on everything.

A lot of crazy things happened in the streets where I grew up, these things have helped me become the man I am today. And today, they are the inspiration for many of my stories.

I've tried other social media sites, none of them gave me the vibe I was after. Then I was invited to check out Steemit.

At first I was skeptical, but as I went through the blog, I could see the very thing I had been looking for. One in which writers like me could make our voices heard. It's my dream to simply write stories people will love and give me positive feedback or criticisms. They show that my story has indeed gone out there and touched someone.

And that was how I opened an account. And now, I'm here. Hoping I'm welcome. And as I'm here, I'll post stories as regularly as possible, and I pray I don't disappoint. And with time, I hope to become a better writer. And a better man.
