Portulak bzw. auch Sommer Portulak genannt, es gibt noch den Winter Portulak, zwei ganz unterschiedliche Pflanzen, die wenig miteinander zu tun haben, wie der Name schon sagt, Sommer Portulak, der sieht auch ganz anders aus und wächst halt eher, wenn es warm ist. Wir schauen uns aber heute mal den Sommer Portulak an und ich erzähle euch einfach wo man den finden kann. An den Boden geschminkt breitet sich Portulak sternförmig aus rote Stängel und seine grünen fleischigen Blätter sind da Markenzeichen viele kennen den Portulak als, Unkraut da auch an unkrautartigen Region wächst wie z.b. an Feldrändern, Wegen, Bahndämmen oder auf Schutthalden oder auch im Garten rendern oder im Garten Nähe wo es viele Nährstoffe gibt oder auch sandige Böden. Portulak ist eine einjährige krautige und sukkulente Pflanze, sukkulent sieht man vor allem, wenn man sich die Blätter anguckt, die sind eher so ein bisschen dicker und fleischiger, deswegen findet man Portulak vor allem im Süden Deutschlands und eher weniger im Norden und auch in anderen südlicheren Regionen findet man sehr viel Portulak, sobald es etwas wärmer geworden ist, nachdem bei kalter Witterung klappen sich die Blätter zusammen bei Sonnenschein breiten sie sich wieder aus, schade wäre es, wenn man diese Pflanze aus den Augen verliert.

Portulak hat viele wichtige Inhaltsstoffe, Nährstoffe und auch für den Menschen positive Eigenschaften. Portulak benutzt man meistens im Salat oder als Gemüse. Geschmack ist relativ schwierig zu beschreiben es ist schon relativ Salatig ist aber auch ein bisschen säuerlicher als Vitaminlieferant gibt es vor allem Vitamin C aber auch Vitamin A und B und reichlich Mineralstoffe z.b. Calcium, Magnesium, Eisen und Kalium. Portulak ist gut um das Verdauungssystem zu stärken, das hilft gegen Sodbrennen, aber auch gegen Kopfschmerzen und Nervosität soll es helfen und husten stillend und fiebersenkend soll es sein.
