Food Photography Challenge - Week 53 - Simple but very complex cheburek.
There are many dishes that look like something very simple to prepare but in fact, in order to achieve a positive result you need to work very hard and have a significant stock of knowledge in cooking.
One of these dishes is cheburek a pie made of thin crispy dough with a meat filling of minced meat and onions a very juicy filling.
The best specialists in preparing chebureks are the inhabitants of Central Asia and the Caucasus as well as the Tatars.
Their chebureks are special special because they prepare them from selected lamb and beef.
Sometimes you can try cheburek from pork but it will differ in taste from the original although such a concept as the original in this matter is very difficult to find.
Chebureki are fried in hot deep fat and the process of kneading the dough and minced meat is very long to achieve the consistency of the finished product.
