The most impactful technological news for me in 2023 was that robots will become more like humans.
At Tesla AI Day, Elon Musk revealed an optimus humanoid robot prototype and declared that the company would be ready within the next 3–5 years to take orders. This company is working so hard to create a human-like robot that will work in our homes.
These robots can perform simple tasks like watering the garden, cleaning the floors, lifting items, and others. Perhaps soon we'll be able to have some robots that help around the house.
It is so dear to us that we are living in a time of technological advancement, where yesterday's science is becoming a reality in services and products. We are reaching the point where a robot will create a robot, where robots can even make some decisions for us.

Just like mentioned above, these robots will be of help to humans, like not going to the farm because robots can do that for us, not driving cars, and road construction. With these robots helping out with our daily jobs, stress would reduce, health would be prolonged, and life would expand.
These robots can speak so many different languages that we don't even need to learn languages to survive in other countries; our robots can just do the translations for us.
Also, they have terrain intelligence, have stability on the ground, know how to move and navigate on non-flat surfaces, and maintain good balance. It also has advanced gestures that help it know whether there are standing, walking, or talking systems around.
These robots express themselves while talking and make some bodily gestures so one can know when there is danger around or when they feel sad. They can engage in conversations, so the robot owners don't need to be bored since they now have a gisting partner. With these, the life span of humans is prolonged.
If you could venture into a technological advance (medicine, entertainment, daily life, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies), what would that area be and why? |

I would venture into Computing power. In the digital era, computing power has already established itself, with almost every device being computerized. The data science experts have predicted that the computing infrastructure will only be much better in the coming years, so if I could venture into it now, better results could be produced that will be used in the coming years.
At this same time, we already have 5G; imagine having the era of 6G and 7G, with more powers and devices around. This field would sustain the largest percentage of employment in every country.
The more computing our devices would need, the more relationship managers, technicians, IT members, and the care economy would flourish.
Finally, what do you expect the year 2024 to be like in terms of technological advances and news? |

Our technology has been consumed by AI, and remember that AI is a component of a broader digital revolution: computing, 3D printing, robotics, synthetic biology, AR/VR, blockchain, and the rest.
There would be an expansion of these digital revolutions to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Since AI has been adopted across various sectors, the awaiting news next year will be the push from experts to get these AIs into use because, from the look of things, they will never move slowly again.

Yes, of course, I agree with you that this robots is basically made so that it looks like a human, meaning it can do all the work like a human, like you said, watering the garden, cleaning it, all this. Elon Musk is a very hardworking and intelligent man, I love him alot. I can't wait to see these robots soon and I hope some will come to Nigeria.
Robots are now the talk of the town as we use them to do alot of things. Robots truly translate and this will really make things easier for us if we go to countries that doesn't speak English as robots can translate.
