#GRAFFITI OF MY CITY №12 / Art among the ruins.
Hello to all friends of the @slon21veka community.
Among the ruins of an unfinished hotel, designed by the prestigious architect Josep Lluís Sert, graffiti created by urban artists from Ibiza and all over the world emerge everywhere.
Sert, a Catalan architect who died in 1983, was dean of the Harvard University School of Design and one of the most prestigious architects of the last century.
The decadent skeleton of the hotel is located in the northern part of Ibiza, in a cove of crystalline waters and green pine trees, the Cala d'en Serra.
The structure attracts visitors with its immense graffiti but it is very dangerous. It is not fenced and anyone can enter. Holes in the ground, rusty iron, pieces of cement everywhere, some hanging over your head... entering to photograph this graffiti was a high-risk mission.
. The blue of the sea and the sky merges strategically in the column.
. The red room, in this room the predominant colour is red. We see a colourful collage of humans and animals in fantastic shapes.
. What would be a swimming pool, now with rotting rainwater.
. On one side a very true sentence."Sow rebellion, reap freedom". Related to this sentence ... Where are our rights?
The rebellious and reivindicative side of graffiti is necessary in our anaesthetised society.
. A skull by the artist Butron, in the swimming pool.
. A very particular Monalisa.
. A very curious work is that of INKRUSTART, who integrates very disturbing elements in his compositions.
. General views of the ruined building and views of the sea.
. This work is by RUBIO, one of the best known graffiti artists on the island, and one of my favourites. I don't know the author of the owl and the woman.
I invite @xaviduran, @qwerrie and @lanegra2804 to the contest.
All the images were taken with a Nikon 5300.

What beauties of graffiti, it's a shame that it's in ruins, but these artists make the most of it!
Thanks for the invitation, enjoy each photograph.
