MENTAL CONFLICT

When Melina was very young, she loved going to hotels, eating and staying there, her father, despite being a middle-class man, used to take his family to a good hotel once a year.
Growing up, Melina had only one dream in her heart that she would work in a 5 star hotel when she grows up. When she was doing her graduation from college many of her fellow college students were also showing their interest in doing this study, and Melina had once again made up her mind that when she grows up, she will get a degree in Hotel Management from abroad.
After graduation, Melina was also dreaming of getting education abroad like other youth. Melina is the member of very ordinary and middle income group parents. She has two more younger siblings, who are still studying in school.
Melina had completed her graduation last year only, but to get admission in any foreign college, she will have to give the entrance test of that course, hence this year, Melina completed her studies by taking a gap year of one year to study hotel management. Preparations have been done.
And finally, by giving online test, Melina has been selected in the world's best hotel management college.
To study in this college, despite having a general seat, she will have to spend so much every year, which Melina had never imagined, but her father encouraged her and said, "Don't worry, I will take a loan from anywhere." I will cover the expenses of your studies. You prepare to leave.
And then, as expected, her father had arranged for Melina's accommodation and university fees for a year by withdrawing money from his fund, selling some of his stocks, and taking a personal loan from his bank.
And then that date also came when Melina had to go abroad for her studies, Melina was very disturbed since morning. She had never lived away from her parents and ever since she came to know that her father had also taken a loan from the bank for her studies. Since then, she was very worried about how the expenses of her family and her younger siblings would be met after she went abroad.
Just before leaving home, she is sitting in her room and is mentally torn that she may have put her family in trouble due to her very ambitious studies.
She is sitting very sadly near her suit case with her passport, her air ticket and the final check list resting on it, her elbow resting on it. And today when her dreams are about to be fulfilled, there is no happiness in her heart, rather she is worried about the future of her family.
And finally she made up her mind that she would go abroad and help her father financially by working as many hours as she would be allowed under the rules of that country, along with her studies. After coming up with this idea she felt very self-satisfied. And then she became calm while praying in her mind to God for the happiness of her family.

For a moment I thought she would change her mind and give up her heart's desire... It's good that she's going her own way; maybe she'll get a scholarship and can start early to relieve her family... Very nice!
Wow madam, you are a great mind reader, actually for a moment I also felt like writing the same ending. But in the end I changed my mind because the tickets had been purchased and the fees had been deposited. And anyway, international tickets were taken under non-refundable scheme, which were economical and very advanced.

Hello dear friend, You have created such a wonderful story that I don't have words to comment, still I am trying. You have created a story which is mostly of middle class families where due to lack of money, promising children with dreams are deprived of their education. Sacrifice also has to be done, sometimes parents have to make sacrifices to fulfill the dreams of their children.
The best thing in your story was that Melina is a promising student and she is also concerned about her siblings. Along with studies, she will try to overcome her father's financial crisis by doing a part-time job. She is such a student who does not waste her time. I enjoyed reading your story. कहते हैं पूत के पांव पलने में ही दिखने लगते हैं , ये तुम्हारी टिप्पणियों से पता चल जाता हे, तुम इतने गौर से मेरी कहानियों और पोस्टों को पढ़कर उनपर इतनी सटीक और भावपूर्ण टिप्पणी करती हो , जिससे ये पता चलता हे की तुम खुद भी कितनी भावुक हो. दरअसल हम भारतीय मानसिकता के लोग ज्यादातर अपने भाई बहनों के हितों की भी चिंता करते हैं और ये हमारी कहानियों , रचनाओं में भी झलक ही जाता हे। मेरी कहानी की पात्र भले ही एक विदेशी नाम हो लेकिन वो निकला तो एक भारतीय की कलम से ही हे , और ये हमारी संस्कृति और मानसिकता का दर्शाता हे.
