STEEM/USDT futures was listed on Bybit exchange yesterday 🎉
Yesterday, the STEEM price surged. Cause, STEEM/USDT perpetual swap contract was activated on Bybit exchange 🎊 Perpetual swap contract is a type of futures. There are many types of futures. 1 month or 1 quarter, etc. Anyways, the 24h volume of the STEEM/USDT perpetual swap contract is around $30m. It seems providing the liquidity for the STEEM spot. It's a good news for STEEM!
You know, MXC(Previously, MEXC) listed STEEM/USDT margin trading long time ago. That marging trading charges some kind of fee while you hold your position, which means you have no choice to hold your position for a long time.
Well, STEEM spot pairs were listed on Binance exchange long time ago. However, STEEM futures is not listed on Binance. So, if the STEEM price shows good movements, can't we expect listing STEEM futures on Binance?
You know, STEEM has been listed on global major centralized exchanges such as Upbit(Based on South Korea), Binance, HTX(Previously, Huobi), Poloniex, Gate.io, Bittrex, WazirX(Based on India). As you can see, for now, STEEM is not listed on Coinbase exchange. If STEEM is listed on Coinbase which is a crypto exchange platform listed on NASDAQ, it will be a good news for STEEM.
As well as, many exchanges have been trying to get exchange licenses in Hong Kong. Justin Sun acquired STEEM 4 years ago. He's a stakeholder of STEEM, TRX and HTX, etc. Therefore, If HTX gets a license of digital assets exchange by Hong Kong regulated authority, it would be a good news for STEEM. Because, exchanges based on Hong Kong play a role of bridging the Chinese crypto market.
