[Daily] Role model

Hello! I'm @realmankwon.

A junior developer I knew said that there was a co-worker who wanted to meet me, so we had a short meeting yesterday.
Development for a dream, not development at a company, and leaving the company and starting a business for that purpose seemed like something good.
In reality, I'm having a hard time.

When I met and talked about things I was curious about, I spent time talking about what I had been through and what I was thinking.
He had already had 4 years of experience at the age I joined the first company, and he seemed to be in a position where his skills were recognized to some extent in the company.
With serious concerns about the future, I'm already doing something, and there's nothing special, but I'm trying to find and talk with developers like me who are living differently. It was like

After a short meeting, while promising the next meeting, I came to think that I should work harder and become a role model for many junior developers.

알고 지내던 후배 개발자에게서 저를 만나 보고 싶어하는 직장 동료가 있다고 하여 어제 짧은 만남을 가졌습니다.
회사에서의 개발이 아닌 꿈을 위한 개발과 그걸 위해 회사를 퇴사하고 창업한 것이 뭔가 좋아보였나 봅니다.
실제로는 아주 힘든 길을 걸어가고 있는 것인데 말이죠.

만나서 평소 궁금했던 것들에서 얘기하면 제가 겪었던 것 그리고 평소 생각했던 것들을 얘기해 주면서 시간을 보냈습니다.
그 분은 제가 입사했던 나이에 이미 경력이 4년차였고 회사에서도 어느 정도의 실력을 인정받는 포지션에 있는 것 같아 보였습니다.
미래에 대해 진지한 고민과 함께 이미 뭔가를 하고 있고 별것도 없지만 그래도 뭔가 다르게 살고 있는 저같은 개발자를 찾아와 얘기를 나눌려고 하는 노력을 보니 제 나이가 되었을때는 지금의 저보다 훨씬 더 나은 삶을 살고 있을 것 같았습니다.

짧은 만남을 뒤로 하고 다음 만남을 기약하면서 저도 더 열심히 해서 많은 후배 개발자들의 롤 모델이 되어야겠다는 생각을 하게 되었습니다.
