HUMANITY: The Origin #2 [Drawings] ENG

Continuing with the 1st Part of the Origin of Humanity

The new cultivation of humanity invades the planet, wheat. But agriculture faces another battle against the most enduring enemy in history, disease.

Diseases such as bubonic plague, tuberculosis, smallpox, etc ... appeared because of living close to animals.

To own land gives life to a new enemy, ourselves. In the village, the crop did not grow and they looked for a way to take what they did with effort, allowing the birth of the war. New ways of mourning arose from the war, originating religion.

On a plain south of England a monument to those who have died, Stonehenge.

The belief in eternal life made the best engineering projects built, while at 3,000 km Stonehenge became another extraordinary monument for the dead, the most amazing building in the world for 4,000 years.

On the banks of the Nile River in Africa, humanity establishes one of the first great civilizations. They create the best engineering feat, a huge pyramid-shaped tomb for Pharaoh Cheops, the King and God of Egypt.

The highest man-made construction in history, over the next 4,000 years, with no metal tools, no wheeled vehicles, only copper chisels and saws. 35,000 workers, most artisans were paid with grains and beers.

It would take 20 years to build the big pyramid by placing blocks every 2 or 3 minutes, working 10 hours a day.

The Prince of Egypt was in charge of construction, one of the greatest engineers in history. The key to most of humanity's achievements, a simple invention made the processes of the work easier, Writing.

Developed 10,000 years ago in the Middle East, writing is an extension of the human brain, we can communicate through distance and time.

In the Middle East rise the first cities, Kanesh, nowadays Turkey, the city gives life to two keys to the evolution of mankind, commerce and industry, and a new kind of human, Entrepreneur.

This new entrepreneur trades one of the rarest and most valuable materials of those times, tin. Tin is the key to the industry, mixed with copper is produced bronze. Strong and sharp change the face of war for the next 2,000 years.

The tin trade opens new frontiers. Traders spread civilization all over the world. But the bronze trade and the struggle to control it now bring modern wars to life.

In Megiddo, today Israel, on April 16, 1457 BC, the new Pharaoh of Egypt, Tutmosis III, an ambitious and inexperienced youth with 12,000 troops, who integrated with officers, regiments and sections, formed a new type Of army. Most are recruited, with farmers being largely untrained. But also trained professionals, the ferocious Nubian soldiers.

This is the first recorded battle in the history of mankind. Tutmosis led the front in a golden chariot, with weapons of war.

The Middle East and military leaders were controlling the City of Megiddo, crucial to the commercial networks of the ancient world.

Tuthmosis led the largest known army in the world. The Egyptian carriage accelerated at 40 km / h while a soldier fired arrows with his bow. A vehicle that terrorized his enemies. The terrified enemy fled from Megiddo. Tutmosis expanded the Egyptian Empire to a huge size, more than a million Km2.

From a species struggling to survive, mankind has found the keys to controlling their fate, fire, agriculture, communication, building cities, being the first to trade and the art of war.

A man can now control millions of lives, a man with the power of a God.

But the time that looks like a God is coming to an end.

To be continued…

We were born to survive in a world full of dangers, we have impossible dreams that we realize.
