इसी का नाम है ज़िन्दगी | (An original poem for the broken hearted)
तेरी धड़कनों में, आँखों में, साँसों में,
कभी हम बंध थे,
तेरी हर ख़ुशी कि, हर गम कि वजह, एक हम थे,
एक वक़्त था, जब आप हमारे लिए तरसे थे,
और एक वक़्त है, हम आपके लिए तड़पे हैं,
तब फर्क ये था, शायद हम नाराज़ थे,
पर अब फर्क ये है, की आप धोकेबाज़ थे ।
तुम्हारा प्यार कभी आया नसीब में, हम खुशकिस्मत हैं,
पर जो आप यूँ छोड़ कर चले गए, तो ये आप की बदकिस्मत है,
हमसे ज़्यादा प्यार आपको कोई करेगा नहीं,
जितना हम तड़पे हैं, उतना कोई तड़पेगा नहीं ।
माना अभी आप नादान हैं,
हम कितना प्यार करते हैं, उससे आप अनजान हैं,
पर एक दिन आप लौट के आएँगे,
उस दिन, जब आप खुद को अकेला पाएंगे।
बहुत लम्बी है ये ज़िन्दगी, हम फिर मिलेंगे कभी,
पर इस बार, न बहती हवाएं होंगी,
न कोई फूल खिलेगा कहीं,
हम होंगे आमने सामने, पर दूरियां होंगी कई,
जैसे हम हों आसमान और आप हो ज़मीन ।
तेरी आँखों की नमी, मेरे दिल को ना पिघला पाएगी,
जल जल के जो भस्म हो चूका है, वो नहीं पिघलेगा तुम्हें देख कर अब कभी,
दिल मेरा भीगा है खून के आसुओं से, अब न भीगेगा कभी ।
बहुत रो लिए हम, अब आपकी बारी है रोने की,
हम खुश हैं, बिन तुम्हारे, क्योंकि गलती हमने नहीं, तुमने की,
जो हमारे साथ किआ है, तुम्हारे साथ भी होगा कभी,
तुम पछताओगे, जब खुद भुगतोगे,
इसी का नाम है ज़िन्दगी ।
