Helpie is an invite only community, but anyone can participate in the daily trivia questions. You are not required to upvote Helpie’s posts to participate. This initiative is not meant to be a vote for vote operation; it’s an educational tool only. If you would like to be considered to join @Helpie as a minnow in training, please consider joining PALnet/MSP and participating in the community. We have scouts constantly looking for the right minnows to support, and they will reach out with a private invitation.
This Week's Featured Steemians
Nick has put out an amazing post on how we can easily use the suns energy to keep our veggies happy all year. He does a wonderful job of explaining the process and the benefits of using such a system.
During the day, the hot sun heats up the water in these tanks (they weren't covered in starts in the winter, so they got more direct sunlight). If they were painted black, they would do an even better job at this. Then at night, they slowly release the heat, keeping the greenhouse warm and increasing the humidity level... Which is a good thing here in the desert.
It’s a brilliant read and his blog is full of other great ideas as well.
@Birdsinparadise takes us on an adventure with her daughter to the local chicken breeder where we get a tour of the operation. This post is full of fun photos of the event as well as a beautifully written story. Her blog is full of delicious recipes complimented with photos that will make you drool. I also really enjoy that her recipes often use ingredients that would normally be thrown away, like crepes from the pulp leftover from juicing... she kind of amazing. I always really enjoy @birdsinparadise’s blog and love when she teams up with her daughter to make things extra special.
Thank you so much @llfarms! What an honor to be included with this talented group of writers! Thoroughly enjoyed this trip to the Chicken breeder!
Thank you! It was a really fun read ❤️
Thank you @llfarms for including me in your curation report. I think that this is a really cool initiative to promote authors here on steemit. I hope everyone enjoys all that amazing articles! Thanks again.
So glad our homesteadin community has your support!
Congratulations fellow homesteaders! Although I already follow all three I agree they have wonderful content. Please include me in the homesteading @helpie community project @llfarms
