Nature and its goodness offers us a formula that although not entirely miraculous, it is quite similar, it has much more benefits than you might think, both for babies and mothers.

Hello dear friends Steemians

In the first delivery; Breastfeeding, Benefits for the Baby), we learned about the wonderful benefits of breastfeeding in our little treasures, which extend to the mother, a satisfying contribution for the whole family.

How can mothers benefit from breastfeeding?

• It promotes a unique and special bond between mother and child, establishing neurological connections that determine the development of the baby. It is the emotional bond that will establish the communication that both of them need to ensure that the baby's needs are met.

• The baby's sucking is the mother's indicator to promote the hormones she needs for a quick recovery; it regulates the levels of oxytocin, which decreases postpartum bleeding and helps the uterus in its complete recovery, allowing the woman's body to return to its normal state quickly.

• Protection of the mother's health; scientific studies associate breastfeeding as a process that reduces the risk of breast cancer, urinary tract infections, ovarian and uterine cancer.

• Significant savings of time and money, breast milk is always ready, with the ideal temperature and within reach of all mothers, he decides how much milk he drinks and there is no waste, instead the formula has high costs, some babies can be intolerant, allergic, also spend time in preparation.

• Promotes rest; by sucking, the mother's body generates the hormone prolactin, dedicated to stimulating milk production, in addition to having a relaxing effect for both mother and child, facilitating rest.

• Helps with the mother's weight; the body burns 400 to 500 calories daily for the production of breast milk, allowing the mother to lose the weight gained in pregnancy.

• Lower risk of suffering from postpartum depression due to the production of high levels of oxytocin, which allows mother-child attachment, improving their relationship.

• Lower risk of diabetes

• Maintains an iron reserve, this is observed in women who stop menstruating during the lactation period, where the body maintains high iron levels, preventing anemia and improving the quality of breast milk.

• It benefits the bone system of the mother, since it remineralizes the bones of all the mineral losses during pregnancy, allowing a stronger system.

The experience of breastfeeding our children, is usually very hard many times, hours of tiredness, sleep and even pain, go hand in hand with this process, for me was a great challenge, but a decision made without fear of making a mistake, was the best of my life, I dealt with all those experienced mothers, opinologists who are always vigilant of what they think you are doing wrong, to give their criticism, mostly negative of your role as mother, my response is that you follow your instinct, that develops with the birth of your child, you will have the best experience.

On a psychological level the satisfaction of feeding your child with your own body is of another level, apart from that visual game that leads to a special communication between the mother and her child; you begin to be the only person who needs the baby, a kind of hero, covering all their needs and that is worth more than all the sleep time you can lose.

In the images I show my son in different shots, it was a job that required patience, alertness, discomfort and a lot of time, but my health and that of my little one is worth it.

Don't forget to leave suggestions, experiences, questions or comments at the end of this post.

Remember my recommendation today: breast milk as our children's main food

Breast milk contains antibodies that help your baby fight off viruses and bacteria. Breastfeeding lowers your baby's risk of having asthma or allergies. Plus, babies who are breastfed exclusively for the first 6 months, without any formula

I have a first post where I explain in summary the benefits of breastfeeding with respect to the baby, there are many benefits that this practice takes us, being the most important the health of the baby, but in this case I highlight the benefits to mothers who breastfeed, thank you for reading
