Here I am Lucia again trying to find a good and virtuous topic to inscribe and share at the same time to learn about.

So the topic for today is "Breastfeeding".

After successfully raising three healthy children, it is worth mentioning my experience with breastfeeding. The many advantages it offers are even more than those indicated here, but the most obvious ones are still the most important. In the current world of instant food, mothers are prone to choose bottles and bottles for some strange reason.

Breast milk is free, and that is a great advantage, especially in households where money is scarce. It is also at the right temperature, which means there is no need to heat it. Another important factor is that one can access it anytime and anywhere.

While there seems to be a stigma against mothers showing their breasts in public, this is undoubtedly an exaggerated reason for not doing so. The obsession with breasts and their ability to stimulate men towards sexual desire is probably the center of everything. In the old temples and in some modern ones, as in Japan, the breasts are celebrated.

The images carved in places like Nineveh, where the marriage with the Mother God, Mary, was a reason for the crucifixion (as mentioned in many of my articles) possibly belonged to the preliminary games. As the volunteers who were then sacrificed tried to become their partner, this would have been the most likely target for them.

In his diary, Jerome, the doctor of the Catholic Church, observes how a group of men cut the breasts of a woman in Bethlehem because it led them astray. She was locked in actions in the main square. He thought that the punishment was just and, as he was the one who formulated the religion based on Islamic principles, it is possibly the reason why the stigma remains.

The best thing about breast milk is that it is highly nutritious and contains everything a baby needs to thrive. The vitamins, minerals and enzymes that it transports from the mother to the child are the natural way to provide the perfect food. Why, then, should someone forbid mothers to breastfeed in public? After all, most of us were raised on the substance produced.
