300 Day's Of Pure Madness

While running my first 5Km of 2018 I came to the idea of doing instead of a 30 day challenge a 300 day's challenge where I will do as many pushups as I can and show this to you by posting a screenshot of the pushup counter app I use. Now day by day this challenge has evolved but the goal is still the same "300 Day's Of Pure Madness".

In these 300 day's I'll be doing different types of exercises and workouts that will form part of @steemmatt "The Steemit Daily 100+ Rep Fitness Challenge". I'll also be doing my usual running and combining this with @runningproject amazing project and the amazing @isotonic tool be sure to check out their daily post.

Here I leave behind the previous post regarding this challenge, check it out. I also wanna say that the app that I am using is called "Push Ups Counter" available on the playstore/andriod.

Today's Workout

Today I didn't do much because I'm working night shift and I need to catch up with my sleep. I manage doing my pushups at work before midnight, I did 100 pushups in 2 minutes. Tomorrow I'll be doing a long run at night hopefully if the rain has stopped.

This is really pure madness. I would like to know what motivates you? Last year I planned to complete a different 30 day challenge every month and I did very well for about 3months. However, by the fourth month I just lost steam. I had intially started the journey with folks at work but they all dropped out after the second week. It took a lot to last 3months and there were some days that I just did the barest minimum but by month 4, I was done. When I read that you are doing a 300 day challenge, I wonder how you intend to keep yourself motivated and not just give up after the 4th month.

@oncebey60 i know what you mean and I won't lie it's not easy but what I try to do is I give myself everyday atleast 5 minutes of motivation, whether it's reading page of a book or a motivational video. In my case I like the agressive style of CT Fletcher his videos can get anyone motivated. And keep it fresh some days I run some days I swim and some days I do exercises. On the days that I'm feeling great I might run and do exercises and on other busy/lazy days I might just only do some pushups and it's ok to miss a day man we are not robots yet :)

Lol we are not robots yet indeed 😂 thanks for the tip. I’ll try to push myself to start exercising again. Hopefully I’m able to sustain it this time. 😊
