Dear Diary: My Health Insurance Willl End This Month And We Have To Pay In Cash For My Dialysis In November
My mother is now busy looking for ways to get some additional funds from the local Mayor and to the government sweepstakes office so that it will help me pay in cash out of pocket once my health insurance ends this coming November.
Paying cash for dialysis is very expensive so it needs the help of the entire family for the needed sessions to get bridged until next year where paying the health insurance again will cover the sessions which will relieve the patients the strain of paying.
The hospital that I am going still charges $6 per session considering that the dialysis pays for the whole session so it is a kind of unfair for us patients to pay additional fees that we do not know what it is for.
But nonetheless I am still thankful because some hospitals charges more than double as if they really do not care about the welfare of the patients while the government doesn't give dialysis in their hospitals so the patients would go to private hospitals where the just have to endure high costs and unfair fees.

How often do you get dialysis? I am surprised that the insurance can force you out. That is generally illegal here in the states now even with pre existing conditions.
My insurance only gives me 90 sessions per year so I scrimp on my treatment to be twice a week so I can extend its use @nuthman it is actually the hospital who is ripping us off with additional fees.
I hope and pray that you will get some help with the funds and things will work out, my friend.
