Sarnia Mayor Mike Bradley wants residents to have a vote on fluoride. He is recommending the city have a plebiscite about the controversial compound included on the next civic-election ballot.
Bradley said whether or not to fluoridate drinking water is a "perennial issue" in many Canadian cities.
"I've been on 10 different councils and every council term this issue comes up," he said.
Bradley said the results would be non-binding, but would let council know how the public felt about the issue.

In 2013, Sarnia city council voted 5-4 in favour of getting rid of fluoride. The decision changed nothing, however. Sarnia is one of six municipalities to get their water from the Lambton Area Water Supply System (LAWSS). Fluoride is added to the water at one central water treatment plant, and the water is then pumped to the different municipalities. Unless four of those six municipalities vote to get ride of the controversial compound, the water continues to be fluoridated.

"We've had many votes over the years," said Susan MacFarlane, general manager at LAWSS, adding that they've always had fluoride at the plant.

This has really upset some people but I do not force my opinions on others, or need to communicate every detail of my life or issues, most people do not care anyways. Holy moly Barry, that information is scary! @barrydutton it’s disgusting that they allow that little effort to be put into “first world” water supplies and maintenance. But it truly is a scary scenario where even the water you drink can make you more dumb.

I see it even worse they upvote themselves, I have no say I have 600$ strategically invested as best I can, and 50$ in SP would you be down to do like a q and a with me once I can afford a computer and a desk? Wow! A lot of information here, bottom line fluoride is a known poison and yet we add it to drinking water and other items. What really stuck out to me was the toothpaste warning if swallowed compared to drinking water. Sheeple need to wake up.

So many people see this and read it and wonder....... I know I did like 20 yrs before I ever heard of Agenda 21 or this stuff being in water even MAYBE being a toxin.

It's great to see people talking about this. Ages ago I invested in a British Berkefeld water filter. My friends are split between those who have also bought one and those who think I am totally nuts!
I don't even want to know what's in the water where I am in Thailand...
Funny: I've recently been fantasizing about buying a still - not for alky, but for water. If the SHTF, distilled water will be valuable.
Stills are good and they can be cheap.
I would look into a Berkey system with the fluoride ( PF-2) filters.
Gravity fed, no hydro needed, stainless steel, and the filters last a long time before you need new ones.
-- that is the real LSS short and I have spent hours and hours of research on them. I am trying to type less these days, with injuries and just people zoning out LOL
Here is a Canadastan side sample of what you look for and I would look for a package with this as well as the SIGHT SPIGOT so you know how much water is in the container.... my research showed for not much money, it is a big time saver and peace of mind thing.
The black filters are always the standard.
The white ones are the fluoride filters and go on the bottom side into the fresh water 2nd container.
